   Dined here for a late Mother’s Day dinner and was underwhelmed by the experience. The ambience of the restaurant was very great and they even served a complimentary glass of champagne to us when we first arrived which was a nice touch. However, the food was not up to our expectations. I ordered the steak and sushi and the steak was overcooked and had a weird taste to it, it almost tasted like it was old but I’m not positive. Salmon sushi was just ok, it was unlike other salmon sushi’s I’ve had and I was expecting more of a salmon nigiri but that was not the case. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it’s not something I would order again. My mom got the Chilean sea bass and it was also just okay, we’ve had much better sea bass dishes in Dallas. The hummus appetizer was very good and the happy hour wine specials were amazing. I think this is a good place to come for happy hour drinks and snacks but would go somewhere else for dinner as the entrees were nothing special.

   Flavor is definitely there, but food was cold.. even when reheated. Would give it another try in hopes the food comes out warm next time.

   Dined at Joey for Mother’s Day and could not have had a better experience. Food was excellent. Loved the decor. But was most amazed by the service. At least four people served and checked on us including two managers. They all seemed genuinely interested in everything being perfect. Shout out to Tela our server and Alex a manager. Will definitely return.
