   Amazing service! Always above and beyond service provided by AJ, May and Nyles. Joey has a nice happy hour menu and makes the best molten lava cake.

   We always enjoy dining at Joey's. The Sliders, Grilled Club Sandwich, Prawn Lettuce Wraps and Salmon Poke were all very good, as was the service. We will be returning.

   My friend and I come to the Markville location bimonthly for happy hour. It is our mental health break. We typically have good experiences, that is why we keep coming back. However, today this was not the case. 1. After I ordered the white cuvee- 8ounce, I asked one of the managers if it was 8 ounces ( because I get it every time and it looked small). He dismissed me and said yes- 8 ounces. Later it turned out that it actually wasn’t. 2. I often drink the Cuvee and this time it tastes like apple juice. I could not drink it. They assured me it was the cuvee- but maybe it was off? Or, maybe it wasn’t cold enough? Often wine changes flavour with its temperature. I ended up having to drink the Pinot- because the Cuvee was just undrinkable. 3. We specifically ordered a protein burger with no sauce- it came with sauce and had to be remade. We were in a bit of a rush at this point, as we needed to get our kids. 4. After we paid our bill, we realized we overpaid. We came back into the restaurant to get it sorted out. However, we each paid separately, but were refunded different amounts- I know that the manager was just trying to get it sorted for us, but my friend ended up paying 13 more than me. It did not really make sense. We wanted to provide this feedback to you, as we typically have very good experiences at Joey. Unfortunately, this time did not live up to our expectations. We were discussing buying the Mother’s Day promotion gifts cards when we first arrived, but are not hesitant due to our experience. Thank you for taking the time to read this feedback.    The food at Joey is consistently innovative and delicious. I had the steak and ravioli blanco - wonderful. Substitute the fillet for a sirloin for a more tender steak.

   Fantastic service, timely with meal service, great atmosphere, food was delicious and warm! We even got a surprise dessert on the house! Highly recommend!

   Place is very nice. Food is nice although they removed some items from the already short menu. But service was absurdly bad. Sorry, a nice place with bad service turns to be a bad place. I can’t say all servers are bad, bit this one woman is terrible. Bad attitude, seems to be making you a favour, always in a hurry, not patient, arrogant, never around. Not the first time attended by her, but this time she made worse.My oder arrived wrong and as she is never around I had it as it was (bad experience). I complained to her and she told me she would report it to the manager and then… nothing! 1 star is all they delivered yesterday! Terrible experience in a very nice place.
