    JOIA will be open for festive lunches from 12pm with last sitting at 2.30pm, on the last four Thursdays before Christmas (28th Nov/5th Dec/12th Dec/19th Dec). It’s the perfect spot to celebrate the wins of 2024 during corporate or client lunches. Head Chef Cristian has created a Festive Chef’s menu for groups larger than 10, perfect for sharing with friends or colleagues in the restaurant. Start with JOIA favourites Glazed Aubergine and Beef Pica Pau before choosing between Arroz Cogumelos with Wild Mushroom and Black Truffle or Grilled Fillet of Turbot with Bilbania, Garlic, Chilli and Parsley. To finish, a selection of decadent & sweet delights including Portuguese classic Pastel De Nata or Chocolate Orange Mousse.

    Join us for an afternoon of luxury, elegance & breath taking views with JOIA’s Winter Afternoon Tea served in the JOIA Bar every Saturday & Sunday from 12pm-4pm. Savour a selection of finely cut sandwiches, freshly baked classic & cranberry scones with strawberry & mulled wine jam & clotted cream. A mouth-watering range of exquisitely presented pastries & teacakes including a sherry trifle tart, chocolate & orange cinnamon mousse & pea & pecan gingerbread choux bun. The sandwich selection includes turkey & cranberry sauce, watercress, egg & dijon mustard mayonnaise & smoked salmon with cream cheese. Winter Afternoon Tea: £55 pp Champagne Afternoon Tea: £65 pp We can provide a gluten-free afternoon tea, but we require 48 hours' notice.

For mains, choose between a selection of dishes including Norfolk black turkey served with Madeira sauce, grilled fillet of salted cod or loin of venison with fried brussels sprouts & king oyster mushrooms. To finish, a selection of decadent & sweet delights including Torrija – a caramelised brioche served with salted caramel ice cream.

    View: Given the marketing and location, the view is underwhelming. The proximity to Battersea Power Station means you don’t get to fully enjoy it, and beyond that, the view primarily overlooks train tracks, which detracts from the experience. Food: Overall, the food was disappointing. The octopus salad lacked the expected texture and flavor of octopus. The Arroz Marisco resembled a soup more than a risotto, and there was no mention of coriander in the dish, which could be an issue for those with preferences or allergies. Additionally, the Madeira sauce was unexpectedly alcoholic, which was not indicated on the menu. Service: Service left much to be desired. The starters were served cold, and the wine arrived only after the starters were already on the table. To make matters worse, there was a 20-minute gap between ordering desserts and their arrival. No one inquired about our experience until after the bill was served, which felt too late to address the issues.

    Our server was really detailed in explaining the menu and offering his suggestions. Good came out with perfect intervals. And of course the food was amazing.
