   Great lively vibe with modern yet comfortable furnishings - all seats are nicely cushioned. They have it all, tables for four, high tops, booths, long bar with tvs. Food is excellent Italian, good portions cooked and displayed to perfection and amazingly prompt. We had a relaxed meal for 3 people and managed to be put in half an hour without feeling rushed. 5 stars

   Server was good but food came out sporadically. Four meals came out one about every 8 minutes. Just over a half hour between first and last delivery. Great food, figure out the delivery and ratings go way up.

   Incredible service, lovely ambience, and food that blew all of us away. The Mushrooms!!! pizza was some of the best pizza we've ever had. Thanks, Josephine!

   I was very disappointed in the restaurant. I always have respect for a restaurant's time, so I arrive when scheduled. We were a party of three and seated 20 minutes after our reservation, with only a perfunctory apology. Because it was crowded, we figured that there would be pressure on the kitchen, so we ordered our cocktails, appetizers, main course and wine all at once. I asked that the wine be brought to the table before the main course and opened so that it could breathe before we began eating the main course. Despite our efforts, the appetizers were brought to the table before the cocktails. After the appetizers were removed, the main course was then brought to the table before the wine despite my earlier request. For appetizers, we ordered Whipped Ricotta & Black Truffle Honey, House Made Mozzarella Sticks and a Suppli. The Whipped Ricotta and Suppli were delicious. "House Made Mozzarella Sticks were no better than the frozen variety and very disappointing. I ordered pasta carbonara as my main course to test the kitchen. Pasta carbonara is a very simple dish to make, but the kitchen has to pay attention. It is simply pecorino cheese, mixed with egg, boiled pasta, crushed black pepper and the pan residue of fried guanciale which should be cooked to a crispy finish. A small amount of the pasta water is used to create a cream sauce when everything is mixed together in the pan. The pasta I received was dry with the egg/cheese mixture stuck to it and not the cream mixture. It seems to me that the kitchen did not take the time to use the boiled pasta water to create the cream, which provides the real flavor to the dish. The guanciale was not crispy and there was hardly any pepper. For desert we ordered Joe's olive oil cake, which was tasty. Suprisingly, when we ordered amaro for an after dinner drink, the lengthy drink menu did not list them. Instead, the waitress had to ask the bartender, come back, and recite them. I doubt I will return.

   We had a great time at Josephine. Very excellent service and the food and wine were tasty. Great place for a date night or after work drinks.

   Very disappointed in the way our food was served (not the servers)the timing of our food. We ordered a salad to share. We were not even two minutes into eating it and our entree was brought. We sent it back. The pizza we kept. When we were ready for the pasta dish we asked to bring it back. Original dishes were served. Very disappointing.

    We had a birthday celebration for ten of us last evening and Josephine's was the absolutely perfect place for it. Everyone got to choose favorites, we shared everything, the portions are enormous so everyone could get plenty of what they wanted. The food is great, the service was very warm, attentive, friendly, and the waitstaff were all charming. The noise level was amazingly low, we had no trouble hearing ourselves at all. Josephine's is on our "rotation", we will return there often.
