   J’s Deli scored a perfect 10/10 again!!!! We took my very picky Dad for breakfast. He ordered Belgium waffles, poached eggs and bacon. The waffles were light, fluffy and topped with fresh blueberries and strawberries; very nice plating! HE LOVED EVERY BITE! I knew he would since J’s Deli prides itself on excellent quality ingredients. My husband enjoyed the generous New York Deli omelette while I had the drool worthy HUGE New York Black Pastrami sandwich on their home-baked egg challah bread with homemade Russian dressing – SERIOUS YUM! Our server was Tony, he recognized my husband and I from the week before and warmly welcomed us back like family. Jay (the owner) visited our table and introduced himself. He is truly a very proud restaurateur who genuinely cares about his customers and treats his staff with great respect. It, honestly, feels so wonderful supporting a local family owned and run restaurant like J’s Deli. This is a real review by a really satisfied, and now, loyal customer! Thank you, Tony and Jay! Oh, and if you saved room, do try their ultimate Ghirardelli chocolate brownie – Insanely good!

   Great food. Service excellent! All employees seem happy to be there! Toni served us. He was very attentive and checked on how we were doing a number of of times. Asked how we were enjoying our food. A great server. We’ll be back!!

   We really enjoyed J's deli. It's so difficult to decide with their expansive menu. We choose the turkey dinner and meatloaf - both winners. Moist slices of turkey breast with a luscious white gravy, super yummy challah bread stuffing and perfect mashed potatoes, The meatloaf was also moist and generous, served with really tasty carrots, perfect mashed potatoes topped with a luscious dark gravy. Tony was our server, and despite being very busy, he went out of his way to ask the kitchen about an ingredient; which I very much appreciated. He also made us the perfect margaritas. Thank you Toni for going out of your way with a smile on your face!

   J’s is always a wonderful experience. We meet our friends and out of town guests there because everyone enjoys it. The owner J is there and sees to it that we have a great time. The food is always fresh and service is terrific. Huge fan of J’s. Easy parking.

   Arturo our server was a real pro. He was very attentive and pleasant and helpful. I think I remember him from years past. All of the servers were familiar. It is a sign of a good place where there is little or no turnover in the staff. They were efficient and worked seamlessly together. The food was fine but not as good as I remembered. This may have been because I ordered from the breakfast menu and not from the lunch menu as I had before. My wife's chicken noodle soup smelled wonderful and she liked it very much. I think I'll order from the lunch menu next time.

    Jay's Deli is modern take on a New York deli (without attitude). I highly recommend the RUEBINSKI sandwich, a sumptuous combination of New York black pastrami AND corned beef (plus, plus, plus). The meat was tender, juicy and delicious. Hard to believe, but it was BETTER TASTING than Katz's in New York! OK, maybe not as much meat, but an incredibly generous portion non the less and one could easily share the meal. The potato salad was full of nice crunchy celery and the perfect blend of everything else making it a quintessential deli side. Another must have are the CHEESE BLINTZES! If you've never had or heard of them before - it's time and Jay's Deli does not disappoint. Thank you to ALL the wonderful staff for a great experience and meal! See you soon!!!!
