Our server James was amazing. In fact all the staff there were so friendly and helpful. Upon seating us another server offered me a basket so my bag wouldn't be on the floor. All the food we ordered and suggested by James were explained to us and the origin of the seafood. He even offered to take the most lovely photo of us at dinner. Overall a wonderful dining experience. I cannot wait to come back and have a sake with dinner after they get their liquor license. I could see the Teppanyaki room was so lively and smelled so good too.

We dined here 2 days in a row. We did teppanyaki on Saturday. The food was cooked perfectly. I had the steak and shrimp, my husband had the scallops and salmon. We shared everything and all were tasty and cooked just right. We did the a la carte on Sunday. Ordered maki, donburi, and udon. Best udon I've had. The maki was fresh and well made. The service here is friendly and attentive. Our compliments to Hanson and Sharon. We will be regulars here.

The Teppanyaki Experience was amazing, the chef was able to put on a good show for my son, much better than some of the other "just cooking in front of you." Their knife skills and fire performance was superb, making it a really cool show. Can't wait to try it again!

Seated for more than 10 min at teppanyaki station before someone asked us for drinks when the restaurant was pretty empty. Food was average at best, my scallops were small and rubbery and a couple times my food wasn't thoroughly cooked, especially seafood that I've to ask the chef to cook a little longer. Service was a bit slow and mixed up our orders a couple times with the large group next to us.

There is no liquor license yet, be forewarned! OPENTABLE: how come only 2 and 3 stars reviews for this place add up to a total score of 3.9? The multiple 5 star reviews on google are definitely puzzling, especially compared to opentable with its verified diner system... Service is quite mixed, or perhaps mixed up, drinks arrived in 4 different trips to the table, some of course forgotten. Food is brought out haphazardly, with a miso soup arriving after dinner was all served, and a crab appetizer at the same time as the bill! Of course, it's hit and miss, some dishes are edible some quite disappointing, lackluster. A reviewer mentioned the $14 shrimp tempura appetizer comes with only one (medium sized) crustacean--wow, never saw that before. The decor looks a little bit cheap with few tables in a large hall, like a cafeteria. Thank god we didn't do teppanyaki as that looks really lame with only one large chef table for the entire show, to serve three dozen diners. Only open for a week: how long will it stay open, will be very interesting to see.

Had lunch today. The ambience of the restaurant was beautiful. Staff were very friendly. My tempura entrée came a full 15 minutes before 2 of my lunch-mates received their food, leaving me to have to choose between eating alone while it was warm vs waiting for the other guests to receive their food and eating it cold. The wait staff didn’t recognize the huge time difference between the entrees. The 4th diner had to wait another 5 minutes after the other 2 diners received their food. The portions of the premium Nigiri set were quite small as was the Sashimi. We all left hungry! Given the price point, the sushi was just ok. We ordered tea to start, there was no attempt to refill our cups. This would have been a nice to do given we were all sitting for so long. Understanding this restaurant has just opened and that they have a lot of things to iron out, I probably would return and give the restaurant another chance.

We decided on the Teppanyaki experience and were the first arrivals for the lunch seating. The room was clean but somewhat sterile in appearance. The overhead exhaust fan was powerful enough to create a cold airflow by our place at the dining counter. When the cook prepared our food on the cooking surface, the entertainment aspect usually associated with the Teppanyaki experience was quite underwhelming. They also managed to get my order wrong. That said, the quality of the food was very good and the restaurant staff were friendly and efficient.
