   Friendly and relaxed setting. A welcome upgrade to the area’s restaurant options. My only suggestion would be to add more dessert choices.

   I love the restaurant and I hope it continues to succeed. The only downfall was the wine selection is so esoteric please throw in some well-known California and French wines. For example, you had a really nice SARAH on the list and you have removed it regrettably also delicious big reds like Caymus 50 year anniversary Romauer Chardonnay ,Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay, whispering angel rosé PAUL Hobbs, Pinot Noir, etc. etc. these are run-of-the-mill favorites. It sure would be nice if you offered them.tks see you soon I'm looking forward to what you do with this comment

   Lovely dinner treating some Sewanee graduates. The chicken dish was delicious but way too much food. Could have easily shared it. Brought half home. Would love to get smaller portions.

   I've eaten here about ten times. In Sewanee there isn't much competition in the fine dining arena. I lived in New Orleans for 20 years so I set a high bar for restaurants. Judith's menu is limited which is OK but it basically has not changed since it opened. Their signature seafood dish is farm raised trout. I'm just not a fan of farmed fish. I would suggest either a red snapper or mahi mahi instead. The Tavern steak is good but nothing innovative. The new fried chicken dish is so bland it's unbelievable. The owner really needs to rethink the menu and keep things fresh. It's a small community so customers want to come often. We need this restaurant to work so please give it some thought.
