Justine is a brasserie in New Orleans’ historic French Quarter. Opened in 2019 by husband-wife team Justin & Mia Devillier of La Petite Grocery, Justine combines the sophistication of Parisian brasseries with the playfulness of the South’s most lively district. Featuring dishes like Mussels, Escargot & Steak Frites, the menu honors the technique and simplicity of French classics, while evoking the senses with exciting, grand presentation. Other seafood and steak favorites include Shrimp & Grits, Pan Roasted Red Snapper, Shrimp Remoulade, NY Strip & Hanger Steak. True to the heart of French brasserie culture, the bustling, multi-roomed restaurant offers a versatile space to be enjoyed by all, whether it’s for a weekday lunch, afternoon glass of wine or celebratory dinner. Justine is one of our favorite New Orleans restaurants. We love the atmosphere and decor. The service is always amazing and Jazz was no exception. She was warm, friendly and always attentive. She even remembered my wife from a previous visit and offered us a complimentary champagne flute. The entire meal from the appetizers to dessert was delicious. I can’t say enough kind words about Justine.

Great atmosphere, really fun vibes. Delicious food and cocktails and excellent service. The hostess Bree was friendly and helpful and our server Taylor was attentive and informative on the menu! Will definitely go back!

We are locals and love Justine. It’s a unique and beautiful restaurant. The food and service are excellent. We are very pleased to see Justine open for lunch again. We highly recommended!

Horrible service. Multiple items were forgotten at different times and when we brought it up the server acted irritated and at one point rolled their eyes. We would sit with empty wine glasses and it was never acknowledged. When we would order a drink (glass of wine) it would take 10 plus minutes to receive and there was only 3 other tables in the entire restaurant. Never received a water refill. While we were thrilled that the onion soup was back on the menu, all 6 of us ordered it, not one person liked it. Very very bland. It used to be amazing. We also ordered the cheese as our appetizer, which took half an hour to receive and it too was off. We’ve had it before and loved it and this time it missed the mark. Not sure if there is a new chef or just an off day, but the food was very subpar and probably why there was no one in there. They make you put down a $25 a person incase you or someone cancels which is normally understandable but didn’t make sense when you do not have anyone in there. Same with not being able to seat us until our entire party was there when af that point, we were the only ones in the restaurant.

We arrived a few minutes early and were not seated until our reservation time even though there’ were tables available. We waited of an hour to get our food and received no explanation for the extensive delay. We received no complimentary drinks or dessert for our troubles. Very disappointed and they seemed to care less.

There were a few minor service hiccups, but all was resolved without my having to complain other than pointing out errors. As for the food, the escargot seemed severely lacking in garlic and other seasonings.
