   First time at this restaurant. Tuna tartare and fried oysters for appetizers were good and shareable size. Main courses, duck ok, halibut too heavy and with a heavy sauce, seafood broth ok. Too fool to get deserts.

   The restaurant was busy but not overcrowded. It was definitely a loud/energetic atmosphere, but that didn’t detract from the meal. The bar and dining room were probably understaffed but everyone working was busting their butts for us and had a great attitude. The quality of the steaks and the wine selection I’d consider on par with a Morton’s or Ruth’s Chris. We each had a filet and shared the wild mushroom and creamed spinach sides. Everything was excellent.

   Service was really long but restaurant was not busy (8:00PM). Food was good except “rhode Island calamari”. Kids Mac&cheese were only pasta and butter, small taste of cheese. We opted for truffle Mac and cheese ($20) and it was the same kids Mac and cheese with truffle oil… Overall price is really expensive. (~$300 for 2 adults, 2 kids) It was a good experience for our first stay, but we’ll try other area’s restaurant next time.

   The food was ok. The Caesar salad was a bit stale, the French onion soup was very good. The duck was good, the fish stew was not good. And the price was quite high, nearly $190 including tip. Wouldn’t go there again

   Long waits but more than worth it. Everything we had was amazing from drinks to appetizers and main course. Everything was prepared great and brought out right away. Steaks were cooked perfectly.

   With the early dinner plan we needed to do, we their first and only table of the night. The host was friendly and the bartender was great. My husband had a drink whilst waiting for me to arrive. Our server however, was the opposite of that. She doesn't look like she wants to be there. She was compliant but curt. She took our order, dropped our food and would rather be chatting with the other worker and does side work than check in with us. She didn't even deliver our drink order, the bartender did. I had to ask for black pepper for my french onion soup(delicious) to the bartender. When the main course arrived, I said to her, wow that looks great but I'm so full, and should've not ordered the soup. She responded, Just eat slowly.. and then was so annoyed when I asked for black pepper for my dish. Anyways. great food, great host and bartender, poor service. For a steakhouse, a better level of service was expected and it was definitely lacking. what a shame.

    It was just the two of us in the restaurant when we arrived, which was surprising for a Friday night. The service was excellent. The food was just ok, and in our opinion, overpriced. We shared the Caesar salad. Some of the lettuce pieces looked like they were on the way out. Good flavor in the dressing, and one salad between two people was plenty. $14 I had the halibut, which was on the slightly dryer/overcooked side. A minute or two less cooked and it would have been perfect. Fortunately, there was a sauce. The dish had 3 pieces of asparagus and two fingerling potatoes split in half. $46. This seemed a little pricier than necessary but not terrible. My husband ordered the NY Strip steak $90. It came with garlic cloves, nothing else. The cut was ok, but it was well under seasoned. He did order straight horseradish to go with it. It was 16-oz, so generously sized, but we’ve had better steaks at other restaurants for half the price. He also ordered scallops to go with his steak, but never got them. We ordered the scalloped potatoes as a side and they were delicious! The restaurant ambience felt less like a high-end steakhouse and more like a fancy cafeteria. Open tables in the center, booths on the exterior. Not unpleasant, just not what we expected. Great bar area, cozy. The overall kitchen/dining experience was fine, but not fabulous. We’ve had better meals for half the price at other venues. The service was excellent, no complaints about any of the staff who were friendly and accommodating.
