   The food was great , the musics was great , but the service was a little poor . Took forever to get us drinks , bring us small plates and removing our plates after we were done

   We had eaten at the Kalaveras in Long Beach and enjoyed it, so we thought we would bring guests to this one which was closer to their hotel. Unfortunately, it was just not a very good experience. The food was good, not great. They had music videos blasting so loud it was hard to carry on any conversation. The video screens were all around - impossible to ignore and definitely not family friendly. The service was really good, but not good enough to return.

   More of a bar that serves food than a restaurant. The music was loud and the ambiance was set for party vs dinner. We ere entertained by the mariachi videos. The slushy margaritas were very good (we had strawberry and regular). Our son loved the tacos, we had the chicken fajitas were light on flavor and were very greasy. The rice and beans were just okay. I would definitely return for drinks but with so many great places to eat we would not pick it as a go to. Rosie was an amazing server, very helpful and attentive to all our dining needs, she gets a 11!

   We came here for my birthday celebration with some friends, service was excellent even after we came here for the buffet. But we were only going to have less than an hour to eat. We saw online the brunch buffet was from 9-3p & our reservation was at 1p. They were able to accommodate and let us drink "all you can drink mimosas and/or micheladas" for two hours. And we just ordered off the menu, which would come out to pretty much the same amount as the buffet with all you can drink drinks. Cindy our servicer was excellent & we will definitely come back and recommend.

    I was unaware that SUNDAY BRUNCH IS BUFFET ONLY, i was disappointed but thought to give it a try since we were already there. Paid $100 for 2ppl. witch included "bottomless mimosas"(only i drink-but price still included mimosas for 2)food all looked sad and cold. (I NOTICED THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY HEATING TOOLS OR CANDLES KEEPING THE FOOD WARM)there was no notes or signs on anything to tell what anything was. no servers to help assist to tell you what anything is. I had to flag someone down to ask if there were any pancakes or waffles and what things were. then i was directed to a "station" but had to wait for someone to come out. All in all , I had : 1 waffle, 2 drenched in heavy oil eggs /bland and unseasoned and 2 small rock hard churros that we could not bite into. My daughter had: 1-Chile relleno that was only served in half size and was very cold, 1 mini cup arroz con leche that was also served cold and she couldn't bite into mini churro either. ** No salt or pepper or any condiments on any tables so i had to find someone to flag down which was odd considering how empty it was. in total maybe 4 tables were occupied. so it was a bit frustrating to have to wait and look for someone. WILL NOT RETURN . I FEEL WE GOT BOMBUZZULED! WE GOT ROBBED $100!! WAS NOT WORTH THE FOOD OR EXPERIENCE. WE LEFT HUNGRY AND UNSATISFIED WITH A BAD TASTE IN OUR MOUTHS, this was for my birthday. 👎🏽
