   Food was great really tasty. Felt rushed out the door by the staff: sitting at a close by table watching and waiting for us to finish. Wanted to order dessert however didn’t bother. Friendly but totally rushed.

   Loved everything we ordered. We got a lot of the small plates. Our favourite was the honey chilli potatoes. We also had the pork belly, chicken 65, seasonal greens, peanut tofu, chicken and jackfruit. Cocktails were good and our waitress Renata was friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back.

   Food is nice and tasty but kind of a one bit wonder, I wouldn’t go back. The service was not great, waiter barely came to the table to see if we wanted more drinks. We were told after an hour they needed the table back, extremely quick turn around and felt very rushed to leave.

   We booked for 6.15 for our anniversary dinner and were greeted and sat efficiently. Our waiter introduced himself as our waiter for the evening and took our food and drink orders but then we did not see him again for the rest of the meal until clearing our plates in silence. My partner ordered the scallops to start and what arrived was 2 scallops on a bed of leaves and salt, way overpriced for what was delivered. I ordered the pork ribs which had a nice flavour but again we're lacking in quantity for the price paid. For mains I ordered the seabass which had a rich flavour to it complimented by a black bean chilli butter. My partner ordered the chicken curry which arrived overcooked and extremely chewy with a very basic curry sauce coating the chicken. At this stage, we were a bit disappointed with the food but understood we maybe had just gotten unlucky with what we ordered and the fact it was so busy. However, our waiter then reappeared to take our plates not saying a word to ask how we found our food or even to offer to view any dessert menu. Instead, he disappeared and we were approached by what we could only assume was a manager or the front of house who informed us that after being sat there for just over an hour they needed us to leave to make room for other people coming in. We were taken aback by this and agreed to pay the bill and leave. We left the restaurant at which point I checked the booking which stated we would have the table for 2 hours. We returned to the restaurant to speak to someone but were left standing at the front for a number of minutes with no one coming to speak to us. Instead, we left to allow people behind us get seated and call the restaurant instead. We were quite rudely told that the restaurant was busy and they had to move us on despite the booking being for 2 hours. We feel we were moved for not ordering enough food despite us wanting to order dessert also. A disappointing experience all round which ruined our evening

It's never the case that we ask our customers to leave, because how many foods they ordered, we were just watching the time on our system and during this Valentines Friday and Saturday all couples had less than 2 hours seating.    Very disappointed with my experience at Kaldero. The food was great but the prices do not reflect the portion sizes of the ‘large’ plates. The service was very poor and not what I was expecting. I had emailed them after booking to request a more cosy table somewhere in the restaurant as it was my mums 60th birthday and didn’t get a reply and were seated at the entrance of the restaurant. I then called on the day to say one person wasn’t coming and they mentioned my mums birthday then but it was completely forgotten while we were there. At the dinner we ordered our first drink and food and we weren’t asked again if we’d like another or if the food was ok. I also asked 3 times for water until it came to the table. No one acknowledged us the whole time we were there apart from taking our order and asking to pay the bill. I’m extremely disappointed to say the least and will not be back.

   Had a lovely valentines meal, can’t recommend this restaurant enough. The service was fabulous, ordered some small plates, a large plate and sides and the flavour was 10/10. So tasty❤️ the cocktails were so yummy. We’re visiting from belfast and my takeaway was we need a Kaldero in Belfast.

   There were lesser veg options to choose from. Otherwise very good experience overall. I recommend.

   Cocktails were excellent, however the chicken was dry, pork belly was just entirely fat with no / minimal meat. Unfortunate considering the price of the dishes.

    The pictures of this place on Instagram doesn’t even do it justice. The food was amazing & the cocktails were so unique and delicious. Now adding this as my favourite restaurant in Dublin - must visit! Also, the staff were so lovely & their service was amazing. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know!
