   Service extremely slow. Food was warm not hot as if it sat for a while. Highly encourage you to order your apptizer, entree and dessert simultaneously because you wont see your waiter for AWHILE.

   Kelly’s Oyster House & Bar in Fairfax, Virginia, offers a delightful dining experience that seafood enthusiasts will appreciate. Thus restaurant provides a welcoming atmosphere for all occasions.  Our waiter Andrew was exceptional. We were celebrating my dad’s 80th birthday, Andrew was attentive, friendly and made us feel at home. The ambiance is a blend of sports pub and cozy dining, the happy hour options are both delightful and reasonably priced. We loved the oysters, the mussels and drinks. We definitely will be back. I would recommend this restaurant whether you’re grabbing a drink with friends or celebrating a special occasion, Kelly’s Oyster House & Bar is a must-visit destination in Fairfax.

   My entrée was brought out before I received my oysters. The cold draft from the front door needs to be addressed with more tha a small privacy screen. Not likely to return or recommend this establishment.

   Good food but extraordinarily slow and inattentive service. We went in for restaurant week at 7 pm and we didn't get out until 930! It took 45 minutes to get out first course and an hour 15 minutes from first course to get our main. Had to ask for anything we needed twice from our waiter. Not as much of a sorry or any acknowledgement from the staff.

   The food was just okay. The calamari ans mini crab cakes were bland. We sent the deviled eggs back. The rainbow trout was bland. The shrimp and sausage pasta was the best of the entrees. The house oyster came fast and were good. Overall the drinks oysters as the best thing.

   Server was very accommodating. Our order got lost so we had to wait almost an hour for our food to arrive. However, our waiter gave our table two free drinks and ice cream for dessert. The food was amazing. Will definitely come back!

   It was our second time going there and a lovely time. I had the Swordfish twice and both times it was amazing. The selection of Oysters are amazing too. !

    We have been twice this week, so I am putting the two visits together. Probably won't keep that pace but enjoyed it the first time and still had other things in the menu that we wanted to try. If you are a traditionalist, get the lobster roll if it is a special. It is a real New England lobster roll no odd adds. The pumpkin bisque was amazing and could have been a meal in itself with an order of hush puppies as an appetizer. The chickens, both Kelly's favorite and pecan crusted were both great and the white wine steamed muscles were a winner. We ended both meals with the bread pudding also worth having. We will be going back.
