   Disappointing Kibou has now moved into the "we would not go there again" category after a recent change in menu that removed most of our favourites. Food served far too quickly but other aspects of service (around drinks, bill and payment of bill) was very slow

   Lovely restaurant. Friendly efficient staff Not enough choice of cooked food. I e salmon dishes with vegetables

   Thank you for the review Debbie, Sorry you feel this way - We do offer a salmon yuzu miso which is cooked alongside our Kinko & greens itame which has mushrooms, Pak choi and tender stem.

   Fantastic and unique afternoon tea. A range of sushi for savoury options. And some delicious Japanese inspired desserts. The tea was also amazing, I had one with toasted rice and had a really different. We had the vegetarian afternoon tea and were not disappointed. Looking at the rest of the menu there were lots of vegetarian/vegan options available.

   Exceptional food, some of the best we've ever tasted. Staff were friendly and efficient. Restaurant had a really good vibe, intimate but with a good atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon.

   Been to Kibou several times now, and as always, the food is exceptional. I had a selection of sushi (various plates of sashimi, nigiri, tataki), plus a couple of the bluefin tuna specials. Has to be the best tuna I've ever had! The kimchi is also delicious. Wife had yasai katsu which she said was fantastic. Lovely atmosphere, great service. 11/10 (bluefin blew me away!) We'll be back again soon to try the new menu 😀

   We went for afternoon tea which was delicious. There was a good selection of sushi and cakes and different teas to choose from. The staff were great. Due to traffic problems, we were going to be late and when we phoned to tell them, they moved our reservation back by 15 minutes to give us time to get there. They were attentive when we needed them and left us to enjoy our food and conversation.

   Kibou is a lovely place to visit. Food is amazing and presentation lovely. One of our favourite places to go. 100% recommend a visit.

   We were celebrating my Husband's Birthday with our Daughter and a couple of friends. Our Daughter is passionate about Japanese food so we let her order a selection of food for us all. The service was impecable and the food was just superb, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening and will definitely be back soon!
