At KIEM’s dining, we invite you to experience a dynamic blend of modern Asian cuisines crafted by Chef Kiếm, whose culinary journey has spanned some of the best kitchens in Melbourne, Geelong, Aireys Inlet and Kyneton. Formerly the Head Chef at The Gin Kitchen in Aireys Inlet and Sous Chef at Fook Shing in Kyneton, Kiếm has honed his skills in bringing bold flavours and innovative techniques to every dish.

Together with his business and life partner, Yuan, who brings the Taiwanese heritage to the table, they offer a unique menu that marries the rich, vibrant flavours of Vietnam and Taiwan with contemporary twists. Absolutely outstanding food and service! We had corn ribs, chicken bao, beef stew and octopus salad and all exceeded our expectations in terms of taste and presentation. Yuan was very attentive and welcoming. Will definitely recommend this place

We loved Kiems! The food was delicious. I loved the vegetarian curry, lovely balanced flavours and interesting ingredients. The Chinese donuts were a new dish for us both and we loved dipping them in the curry gravy, so wholesome and yummy. The restaurant is outdoors so be aware that you might need a jacket, but they have heaters and umbrellas. The service was pretty good… they are all giving it a good go with lots of positive energy. They don’t have a liquor license yet as it’s a new restaurant, just something to be aware of. I love that they have dived in despite this and I’m sure with lots of support from the community and tourists they will have a wonderful future. Will be back for sure!
