Established in 2020, King’s Fish House is San Jose’s choice for seafood. Located at the Westfield Valley Fair, King’s Fish House features a large selection of fresh oysters, seasonal catches, sushi and live shellfish, including lobster and crab, on a menu that changes daily.

We’ve been in restaurants a little while – three generations, to be precise. A long time ago, we embarked on a road trip in search of the ultimate seafood experience. We traveled down highways and byways, pulled up a seat, put on bibs and soaked up the seafood experience: the no-name dishes with unforgettable flavor, the fresh-caught oysters and clams piled high, the hand-lettered specials on ancient chalkboards and the savory simmer of every combination of spices imaginable.

Welcome to the House that Seafood Built.

Come gather with us, celebrate, relax and enjoy a seafood dining experience of high quality, comfort, service and value.

We asked to be moved outside because table we were given inside was by the front door and it was cold, that is no problem. Once sat , we had no service at all for maybe 15 minutes, not even water. Apparently the designated server was having issues with his tables. Eventually a new server arrived, she was nice . When the entrees arrived , after another long wait , the sides were all cold. They were replaced but arrived close to end of our meal. We have been to kings fish house a few times before, and actually recommend it to our friends who joined us . Overall it was a disappointing experience with poor service and cold food

Thanksgiving was our first visit to this restaurant. Calamari was a little too crisp but artichoke appetizer has good flavors. We ordered lobster roll and miso sea bass both were excellent. For dessert the key lime pie was good but the chocolate cake was too dry for our taste. Overall a good experience and a place we plan on visiting again.

We have a good dinner but only things that we did not like was we have to wait 45 min to get our main dishes. Also they missed our soup too because the server had never asked if we got our food.

Went on Turkey day, which, of course, is not a standard day. Visit didn't start off well with an unfriendly greeting by the hostess who clearly did not want to be working. Thereafter, everything went really well. First time here so didn't know there were so many oyster choices--very pleased. Got the Turkey day set menu--dishes came out a little fast, but green salad was inventive and delicious; turkey plate had a nice mix of light and dark meat, all which was tender; and dessert was very nice. Portions good and price for food and drink reasonable. Happy with service by "Jimmy" which was timely and friendly. Look forward to going back to this restaurant. As a side note, think it is ridiculous that the mall charges for parking. What I give to the businesses allow them to pay the rent that keeps the mall profitable. How cheap!

Reserved for our Thanksgiving dinner. Our server was really nice and very helpful. Food was good and so fresh except the steak. We asked again to cook it because it was still raw, came back still the same. But overall experience was great. Will keep coming back for sure :)

Thanksgiving Dining Experience Review This was our first visit, and the experience started smoothly with seamless reservations. We were seated promptly upon arrival, and our request for a quiet corner table was perfectly accommodated. While the booths looked inviting, the table seating proved more comfortable with supportive armchairs, enhancing our overall comfort. Our party of four opted for the prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner, spending three enjoyable hours immersed in the warm ambience. The menu was extensive, though priced a bit higher than Scott’s Seafood in Oakland. However, the quality reflected the cost, with dishes seasoned and prepared to a higher standard. Our server was attentive, frequently checking in to ensure our needs were met. The only drawback was the timing of food and drink service. Beverages arrived sporadically—one beer was served promptly, while the other two beers and Mojito took several minutes, arriving with the foam noticeably diminished, indicating it had been sitting too long. Despite this, the hors d'oeuvres—buffalo wings and shrimp taquito—arrived swiftly and were well-executed. Soups and salads followed closely, leaving little time to savor each course. Portion sizes were generous, and the desserts, especially the chocolate cake and pie, were standout highlights. Overall, it was a delightful Thanksgiving experience and a refreshing change from our usual home-cooked celebration. While home-cooked meals hold a special place, the ease of having professionals handle the cooking, serving, and cleanup is undeniably appealing.
