The Kinneuchar Inn is a 17th-century pub and restaurant which champions great food in an intimate setting. We recently were awarded Best Local Restaurant in Scotland 2023 by The Good Food Guide.

We serve a daily changing 'a la carte' menu, based on ingredients sourced from the Balcaskie Estate and a handful of carefully curated partners. Our menus are seasonal and produce-led, aiming to highlight the quality of the ingredients.

Helmed by James Ferguson (formerly of The Connaught and East London eatery Beagle) and partner Alethea Palmer.

    First time at Kinneuchar Inn and will certainly be back. It’s not a cheap lunch but quality of the food was excellent and service was professional but relaxed & friendly

    What a wonderful evening. The food was delicious and the menu was extensive and if super quality. Service was outstanding and we felt so welcome as did our little Cavapoo Woody. Thank you.

    Food was absolutely brilliant. Well worth the trip through from Glasgow. We had our 4 year old son and labrador with us and the bar area was great. Service was great. Will definitely come back.

    Really imaginative cooking and main courses in particular were superb (Tamworth pork and Sika venison). Lemon posset and the cheeseboard finished the meal on a flourish. Starters were maybe not as strong and a little expensive but you have the options of snacks instead and the salted almonds and sourdough bread suited me better. Good selection of craft beers on tap and the wine by the glass was very quaffable. Lovely location too.

    We were very grateful that the kitchen was prepared to send a meal home to the member of our party who was unable to attend the dinner. The service was warm, friendly, efficient and caring.. It’s a wonderful place to eat.
