Japanese for “north”, KITA is a Japanese grill style restaurant set in a stunning, modern space that welcomes guests with indoor, al fresco and sushi bar seating. The Wagyu, both American and Japanese, was exceptional—cooked to perfection with incredible flavor that truly stood out. While the sushi rice could have been better, as it had a bit too much vinegar and didn’t hold together well, the overall quality of the sushi was solid, though one fish was just borderline fresh. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but the Wagyu alone makes it worth considering for a special occasion.

I have to say Eddie, our server, did an excellent job at guiding us through the menu. We chose his recommendations and they did not disappoint. He made the experience wonderful and because of this excellent service, I would go again. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome

Amazing cuisine and presentation. Every bite was incredible! We also had wonderful service. We didn’t love the seating arrangement our table didn’t feel very private for conversation. We had an especially loud table next to us which was only 12-18 inches between table. Otherwise I highly recommend. The food outweighs the lack of ambiance.

The food was great! Tofu Agedashi, filet mignon, fried rice with an egg on top, chicken dish all have an elevated feel. Ingredients, preparation, presentation all very well done. Loved the two colors/flavors of salt next to the filet mignon. Servers were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We'll be back.

Attentive staff. Nice decor. Delicious … fried rice! For real! And a bone-in pork chop and scallops that came with grape tomatoes and a sauce that was one of the tastiest things I’ve ever had. Cocktail was well balanced.
