   We went to this nearby restaurant after hearing about it on channel 6. It was a lovely experience. The hostess greeted us st the door, the waitress was attentive and timely and the manager checked to be sure our exprrience was good. The mood was fun and the bar area looked great and the prices were reasonable. We will be going back soon.

   This restaurant was booked , several weeks in advance, for my sisters birthday. We arrived only to be told the restaurant had overbooked and did not have a place for us to sit. The restaurant called me as I was enroute to the restaurant at 7:37pm for a 7:45pm reservation, 5 missed calls. I have the call log proof, which I’ll be posting on google soon. The restaurant manager apologized and stated” because they were celebrating someone’s 80th and a graduation unfortunately no more seats were available for our party”. I looked in disbelief and shock. The manager nor restaurant offered any type of incentive or a discount for another date, nor anything for the birthday person at all. Completely disgusted with how this was handled and very unprofessional! Never returning! Don’t waste your time! The music was also extremely loud as well.

   Pulling up to the building, there were no outside lights on, it looked unwelcoming and like it was closed. Entered the restaurant and was greeted by a very friendly host, but the music was way too loud in that small area, especially since there were no others diners there. Bartender was very unfriendly, it would appear she was new, and didn`t know how to handle people. Grabbed glasses by the rim, where people put their mouth. I had to pay $10 per person deposit in order to make the reservation, but it wasn`t refunded for 3 days, not sure why it wasn`t simply deducted from the bill. Paid $8.50 for a glass of wine, it seemed to be a pretty short pour. Food was very good, my group enjoyed it, but because of the overall experience, I doubt that any of us will return. The restaurant business is competitive, you need to give your customers a reason to return, and make them feel that you appreciate their business. Pay attention to details, it`s the difference between success and failure.

   We enjoyed our night on the town at Kitchen & Kocktails! The food was delicious, service was on point and we loved the ambiance.

    Oh. My. Goodness!! Kitchen & Kocktails, is so far the best. Very good food, drinks and service. Smiling hostess when we walked in and happily walked us to our table. We had the most delicious drinks. We had Drinks ordered were French Quarter Kiss, Lemon Drop Delight, 414 Ole Fashioned, and a Chardonnay (that not pictured). Then round 2 was A Strawberry Sip, and 2 beers. Food ordered was Appetizers: Fried Green Tomatoes Salmon Bites Entrees: Catfish, Fried chicken and Mac & Cheese, Shrimp and Grits, and Ox Tails and grits. Everything was just delicious. Tonight they had a dj playing ol' school music which was great. The drinks, and food were just amazing. Will definitely be retuning. I will say, make sure you have a reservation to make sure you're seated in a timely manner.
