Wonderful food and service! The Salmon Crudo with miso, apple and nori was divine. An artistic setting with a lovely glass floor entrance over a little brook with running water.

The room is beautiful and comfortable (at least for those on the banquettes -- we can't opine on the comfort at the non-banquette tables). The food was interesting and excellent, wine list was strong with good choices at multiple price points. Host was warm and welcoming and made a regular circuit to check in with tables. The other wait staff/service was pretty good to excellent. The restaurant was very full by the time we left, with a commensurate rise in the ambient noise with many happy patrons enjoying themselves. Still perfectly comfortable (we could still have a conversation). We will definitely be back!

Patio was underwhelming (zero ambiance) but luckily they were able to move us inside (nice vibe) which made a huge difference. The food and service was totally on point. Grilled prawns and the toast with anchovies were standouts for me - as were all the raw items we tried (4 or 5 I think and all were superb) - and the desserts were amazing too!! I felt like prices were a little high for what it is (dinner for 4 with no alcohol was about 500 - had they not been able to move us inside, I would not have been happy tbh) but patio experience excluded, food quality was excellent and service was friendly and attentive. We would return.

Amazing dinner at Koast! The ambiance, food and service were all top notch. The grilled head on prawns were the best I’ve ever had. Also really enjoyed the wines and list is very well curated. This is such a great addition to the neighborhood.

The wine was good. The food was just OK, there are 109 other places in LA you can go and have a better meal for the same cost:

Small, crowded, very noisy, best part of the very expensive meal was the burger. We also felt extremely rushed by the waiter who finally slowed a bit after we mentioned it to him

The food was not only delicious it was incredibly beautiful in presentation and the flavors exquisite. The reserve wine list was so interesting and had a great selection that enhanced our meal and the service was warm and efficient at the same time. Couldn’t ask for more for a lovely evening out with an amazing culinary experience this was the place. So happy we went
