This review is entitled, “Attention to Detail”
While it’s very rare I’m extremely critical of a restaurant business, I feel if they don’t make subtle changes they’re in for a rude awakening in terms of sustainability.
Firstly I’d like to say the waitress was great, kind and pleasant so this review isn’t a reflection of her but more so management.
Now I came to this restaurant with the expectation that it would be great for brunch and unfortunately I’m more so disappointed by the thought of what they could/should be.
The restaurant layout and pricing gives fine dining however the food and service gives iHop at 2:00am. Firstly, an in house made Bellini being room temperature in a non chilled glass and a drink chosen by myself, while the waitress knows it’s not a “fan favorite,” should be communicated, removed from the menu, or at least another option suggested. Two steak knives being placed directly on the table top without a plate or napkin is just unsanitary.
The oysters and fries were great, however the steak frites left much to be desired. A “warm steak” with a cold sauce, makes for a very unappetizing meal. The Moscow mule in a tea cup sized container, while being a makeup for the previous drink was also a disappointment from a portion standpoint. The salmon avocado toast ? COLD. Again, if the expectation is that the space is more than a small diner , there’s a certain level of hospitality expected.. the overall management on a Sunday brunch was disappointing. Forcing the customer to hang their own coat when you have a clothes rack, watered down drinks, the pull sign being on a door that’s locked, the lack of a consistent follow up, none of that gives fine dining, which you just expect from this price point. All of these critiques are a lack of attention to detail.
So it’s my hope that they take this review seriously because they CAN BE BETTER!!!

While we strive to offer high-quality food and a great experience, we want to clarify that we are an American bistro, not a fine dining establishment. We also understand your concerns about the details, such as the coat rack and the drink portions, and will work to ensure these aspects are addressed. We hope you’ll consider giving us another try, and we’re committed to making your next visit more enjoyable. Thank you again for your honest feedback.
