    Outstanding service from the hostess to manager to bartender/server. They all were professional and attentive. Food (short ribs with orzo & pizzas were delicious. Brownie caramel dessert great.

    Our evening started off on an extreme high celebrating my niece’s 12 birthday at a beautiful matinee in Chicago. It went downhill and fast at La Barra - Riverside. It took half-an-hour to seat us for dinner and another half-an-hour for all of us to receive our first drinks! We waited so very long for our entrees that once they arrived, we were too tired and exhausted to enjoy the food. It did not help that the fish and chicken were overcooked. In retrospect, we should have gone to the Chew Chew down the street where food and service has always been stellar.

    Very nice restaurant and ambiance. Tasty and delicious food. Moderately + priced, but food was worth it. Welcoming and attentive staff and servers.

    Was looking for a nice normal dinner, but there were 100’s of tipsy people around our table, pressed tight, and a band was playing way way way too loud. If you’re converting into a bar please let us all know. So we know. Worst dinner of our lives. Or if all you have are high tops then tell the web app there is a band, again so we know not to come on that evening. Then people can decide it’s not where they want to go for that night. Thank you.

    Had the filet which was perfectly cooked. My husband had his Russo sausage pizza that he really enjoyed. Michael and Juan were great servers. (Just miss our usual server Sabrina).
