   We had Easter brunch today and it was exceptional! They were running a little late on reservations but that was the only issue we faced. The food was delicious and constantly being refreshed. There was not a single item that did not meet or exceed or expectations. The service was great too. Everyone was so friendly and available as needed. I was worried the menu sounded too good to be true but it did not disappoint!! I think we found our new favorite place for brunch!!

   We made a reservation in February for 8 people (4 adults & 4 children) for Easter brunch at 2:00. We arrived to see many many people waiting. The host said it would be about 15 minutes, that we had a large table reserved and the party before us was finishing up. Understandable, Easter Sunday. It turned into more than an hour, many check ins by us and told that the party had finished, paid and was “camping out”. Furthermore, their policy is to let people sit as long as they like. AFTER 3:00 I told them we had to leave, the children were very hungry. I was spoken to in a condescending manner by the host (told to me by bystanders) and given many excuses). I left and I explained to my family waiting outside. The manager came outside and was sincerely apologetic and promised we’d be seated in 5 minutes, promised a significant discount and was very professional and friendly. We gave it 5 minutes. We were seated in a lovely room and served by Colin. He was spectacular. The food was good and I must say we were glad we stayed. I would suggest they ask patrons for their limit their stay to perhaps 90 minutes on holiday weekends with a discreet sign on the table.

   The ambiance was wonderful and lively. It was Easter Sunday so the place was busy. The hostess at the front stand handled the anxious crowd with such grace and kindness. The serving staff at every point were excellent. The food on the Buffet was delicious. I also had a made to order crepe. Unfortunately there are only a couple of places to get crepes in Charlotte. La Belle Helene knows how to do them right! We will definitely be returning.

   We were greeted by the two friendly hostesses and seated at our favorite table on Easter Sunday. Ginger introduced herself and took our drink order. Corrine was very involved in the entire operation but she seemed to have time to come over and check on us! This was one of the best buffets we have ever been to. In fact it was better than last year. Chef Omar recognized us from past visits and seemed to have everything under control. It was like a well oiled machine, food items being replaced, dishes restocked while all employees appeared to be enjoying the day. The pastries were out of this world and the prime rib which was cut for each person was awesome. We highly recommend La Belle Helene for lunch, dinner, or special occasions. They do have private rooms. We can't wait to return!

   Great Easter buffet brunch, good food, environment, and service. Only that I expected their coffee was better.

   The food was beyond amazing. The madeleines and complementary macaroons with coffee were pleasantly appetizing and made our mouths water. Every bite of food was exquisite and satisfying. The only caveat was that the atmosphere was slightly unsettled by a mismatch of music, most of which seemed more fitting for a diner or a milkshake bar. Service was kind and created a welcoming environment. Will gladly return, overall 9.5/10

   The food was delicious and service was exceptional. We were well attended and taken care of. A menu which includes a $23 salad will always seem overpriced, but the meal was worth paying to celebrate a special occasion.
