   I thoroughly enjoyed hosting my birthday dinner with a few friends at La Belle Helene! The Valentine’s Day Pre-Fix menu was delicious. We each enjoyed our 3-course meal. Our server was so polite and helpful in helping us make selections. The decor was beautiful. The service was quick. I would highly recommend this place for a date night or small group get together. The private dining rooms are ideal for someone looking to host a fancy dinner but still be able to talk and fellowship with their party.

   Server took orders. We did not receive the main order for an hour and 15 minutes. The steak frites were not hot/warm. Eventually the server reduced our hill on the entrees from $80 to $40.

   The shrimp cocktail is phenomenal! Such amazing flavor. If you like quiche, then I would highly recommend that as well.

   I didn’t really like the service and the customers were so rude and just kept staring at me and my husband. There was this customer just laughing at us for no reason. Also the servers took a long time to come by and ask what we wanted to eat. Just didn’t enjoy it honestly! But very beautiful!

   A truly great French restaurant, with excellent dishes and outstanding service. Dishes tried. Every one was outstanding: oysters, escargot, sea bass, duck confit, hanger steak, creme brûlée. Steak frites with hanger steak and Bearnaise sauce was cooked to perfection medium-rare. Duck confit with melted leeks and banyuls jus was terrific, and I make duck confit regularly. The restaurant has to be one of the most beautiful in the city with high-ceilings and decor that makes you feel you are in Paris. Service was as good as the food. The bartenders, server, and service/FOH manager went out of the way to accommodate a couple of requests.

   Exactly the dining experience we were anxiously looking to have… every aspect of our evening was five stars. Appreciate our server Corine and La Belle Helene overall.

    We have enjoyed a number dinners at La Belle Helene but yesterday (January 8, 2025) was our first brunch and it was great! Our server was brand new, in fact it was her first day. All things considered she did a good job! My husband started with a delicious French onion soup followed by the croque monsieur, which he pronounced very tasty. I selected l’omelette au fromage with pommes de grand-mère and toast. The omelette was light fluffy and melted in my mouth. It reminded me of those I have enjoyed in Paris. We each enjoyed a glass of rosé with our brunch.
