   We went for restaurant week and the food was exceptional! For our first course, we had the chicken and mushroom pastry dish that is not on the normal menu and it was like a deconstructed pot pie but richer. I’d definitely try and get it while you can. We also had the deviled eggs with caviar and they were delicious. For the main course we had the salmon and the beef bourguignon. The salmon melted in your mouth like butter but we both agreed the beef was even better. Again, it was very rich and tender. For the last course we got the chocolate gatueau and the ricane which was like a snickers bar, but very light since it’s made with mousse. Both were excellent. Can’t wait to come back and try the French Onion Soup. We kept seeing it come out from the kitchen and it looked so tasty. I also want to mention the service - it was incredible. Everything was paced perfectly and our server was so sweet and kept checking on us and the food. We will definitely be back!

   Amazing time tonight and my first time here. Wanted to try this place for literally years since it opened and it was well worth the wait. We got in half an hour before our 7:30 reservation and hung out at the bar - we were able to enjoy a drink before we were seated. The special Restaurant Week menu was excellent, the food cooked to perfection and the service never lacked and was timely. They forgot my last glass of wine before I got my dessert but this is by no means a deal breaker of any kind - it was probably for the better since I was working with a bit of a budget haha. Our server was great and the bartender who served us before we were seated at our table even offered my friend if she could be of assistance taking a picture for him which was a great bit of customer service! All in all, a memorable first time eating at this establishment and I will certainly be back in the future!

   Joanna and I had a nice lunch and the staff was very helpful to this old guy. I had to come back after our dinner on new years ended early. We had a great time and made a good memory.

   The fall harvest salad with salmon is my favorite lunch in the city at the moment!

   We came as a group of seven for Restaurant Week. Everything was top notch. The Deviled Eggs were great as usual, as was the salad but the surprise winner of the night was the Bouchée a la Reine. Outstanding! Everyone loved their entrees which were largely the Beef Bourguignon and salmon and dessert was just as good. Drinks are on the expensive side, but the atmosphere is great and we had a great time.

   My friends tried to make a reservation for after Hamilton....but we accidentally made it for an hour after it ended!!!! The hostess was VERY accommodating and was able to work us in early :) Our waitress was very kind to our teenage daughters and even offered to give us a free dessert ( because the restaurant ran out of what they were hoping to order). The fish I ordered was DELICIOUS, and the lemon dessert was SO UNIQUE....and delicious, and so pretty! I am definitely going to bring my husband back here for a nice dinner together.

    Decided to try La Belle Helene for the first time during restaurant week and made a 5:15 reservation to have an anniversary dinner prior to the 7:00 Hamilton show. We weren’t seated until about 5:30 after we were first told tables were still being cleared off and then that they were waiting on clean dishes. We ordered Oeufs Mimosa and Bouchée à la Reine for appetizers, and the restaurant was out of caviar which we were okay with. We ordered the Salmon a la Plancha and Bouef Bourguigon for entrees. Our appetizers were mixed up with the table next to us and we also were approached with the entrees of the table next to us. At about 6:40 our server came and told us she basically forgot about us and the delay of food was her fault. We ordered our desserts to go and told her we had a show to get to at 7 just as the table next to us. We received our food at 6:50 and were unable to enjoy it fully as we were now late to the show. We received the check and were disappointed to see that we were not even comped for our drinks (ordered a glass of Prosecco each) or given an additional apology. Overall, the experience was poor and the food could not be thoroughly enjoyed, and I wouldn’t say that it would be worth going and paying regular price for.
