   Food was amazing! We had mainly pasta all around, a pizza and a steak (This Week’s Special). Everyone was very happy with their mains. Will be back, for sure!

   Great value and exceptional food! Thank you for helping us create a memorable and delicious lunch for our mum’s 70th birthday. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Thank you for looking after us.

   We enjoyed a lovely traditional Italian meal on a busy Friday night. It was very busy and noisy but staff did a great job of getting our food to us. We had calamari, great, octopus, a little chewy but great taste. We tried the pizza, also great. I will try pasta next time.

   The service was very friendly and welcoming giving us all the information of options available etc. We had the warm olives, garlic bread and calamari which was a lovely appetiser and very fresh, actually the calamari was the best I’ve ever had in terms of a super light batter and cooked just enough not chewy at all. I had the NZ black mussels with chili and garlic it was equally fresh and flavoursome, also the veal pommodoro (spelling?) was very tasty, the pasta was lovely too. All meal very fresh and yummy with options for sides

   The food was very good, and service excellent. And I love the BYO ability. But it's too noisy to have easy conversations. My friend was seated next to me, (not opposite) and we struggled at times to hear one another. The solution to the problem of excessive noise is simple, but it does need to be well designed. The restaurant should engage an acoustic engineer who understands patron noise problems to design and specify the required treatments. If it wasn't so noisy, I'd love to make Le Botte D'Oro a regular haunt.
