La Dolce Vita opened its' doors in Beverly Hills in 1966. The biggest celebrities in the world lived only moments away, and La Dolce Vita literally became their second home for decades to come. Regulars included the Sinatras, the Reagans, the Pecks, the Douglases, and the Bloomingdales. It hosted every sitting US President since the Kennedy administration, and was known as a haven for titans of industry and finance. Deals were made with a handshake, and everyone was certain to arrive on Thursdays for Osso Bucco. Now, La Dolce Vita moves to the future, following a seven month 'facelift,' during which the restaurant was restored to its' original pristine condition, reprieving the original menu, recipes, and decor. La Dolce Vita arrives once again as a popular dining and entertainment destination, now home to young Hollywood and those seeking the traditional cuisine of Italy.

I think I had the last meal before the corona-virus shut down La Dolce Vita. I was celebrating my birthday, so it was a special day. The restaurant only had one other booth occupied. So the noise level was almost too quiet and the service almost too attentive. I almost cancelled my reservation because of corona-virus concerns. So the fact that I came in contact with few people actually eliminated stress and made me glad I had not cancelled. The food was everything I expected. I am looking forward to returning with friends and family once the health emergency ends.

It was a wonderful dinner, and wonderful experience. Very old school, but delicious and fun none the less. Would recommend it if you want an intimate, quiet dinner, and good food.

Always love La Dolce Vita, especially on a week night. The drinks are always amazing and the food this time was particularly good and flavorful Also, these guys are top notch when it comes to service!

I love the food! I keep coming back here for so many dishes I love, but last night I tried the pesto pasta for the first time and thought it was absolutely delicious! I usually get the chicken parmigiana or the Sinatra Steak both are amazing. And love the Caesar salad, I almost always start with that. I love the romantic and relaxing atmosphere. The service was great and fast as always!

We needed to increase our party from 2 to 3 over the Valentines Day/Presidents Day weekend and calling a day ahead of time we were accommodated. We were taken to our table directly. My martini was very good and hot rolls were promptly delivered. The Caesar Salad was shared by all and was excellent. Our veal dishes and chicken dishes were good. Both the Tiramisu and Chocolate Cake desserts were delicious. The service was attentive despite the large Holiday crowd. We knew the price would be expensive up front. We would definitely return for another Special Occasion.

Valentines dinner was nice once a year trip to La Dolce Vita our server started out very attentive but after his other tables started to show up he basically forgotten about us we had to wait to get our dessert and for our check that was a set menu with the gratuity added to the total so it was a great night with good food and a somber ending. I will defiantly go back to La Dolce Vita because I love the history and the ambiance of the restaurant
