   Always a good time. Last minute valentines dinner for us. Escargot and french onion soup was superb. Shared rack of lamb addition for entree. Perfect amount of food! Tonia was excellent helping us out.

   Wonderful, intimate restaurant in a cozy setting. Delicious, genuine French cuisine with fresh local ingredients. Wait staff are superb.

   Very good food, everyone at our table enjoyed it a lot. My steak frites was cooked just right and the escargot were great. Good cocktails and the wine list is not long, but adequate and the prices reasonable for a restaurant. The service was exemplary. There when you wanted it to be and not constantly asking "is everything okay?" All the staff were quite friendly. This is more of a special occasion place although it's fine for casual dining too. It can be a little loud, but not overly so. Give it a try, not many French restaurants around here and this is a fine example.

   We love La Fable. We have only recently started going and each visit is more enchanting than the last. If you have the opportunity to order the Cream of Crab soup, do it. It’s silky and smooth and the crab is tender and sweet, it makes you want to lift the bowl and drink what you can’t reach with your spoon. Next is the Steak Frites which was amazing again (I had it last time) and I don’t order steak when I’m out but Chef Benjamin prepared it so perfectly last time, that I had to order it again, and it did not disappoint. My husband ordered the scallops which were thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented and layered with a host of flavors which he savored. Tonia and Peter were solicitous without being overbearing. You must ask Peter about the Honeymoon table where we were seated this evening. See you next time!

   La Fable in Rehoboth Beach DE is a favorite for my wife and I. We live about 3 hours away, but when we are able, we do our best to return when we come to the beach and have even made the drive several times just to return for special occasions. The food, service, and atmosphere are wonderful.

   Lovely atmosphere, Jody and Peter took excellent care of us and our meals were superb. After ordering our wine and settling in we both decided to try the Cream of Crab soup which was gluten free. It was smooth and delicious. My husband chose the Cassoulet also gluten free which featured duck confit in addition to the rack of lamb which was beautifully presented and he raved about the taste. I ordered the Steak frites which featured a boneless NY Strip and and garlic fries that were seasoned with fresh parsley, so delicious. I could have cut the steak with a bread knife it was so tender and the sauce was wonderful! We didn’t order dessert as we were so full from dinner and ended up taking to go containers to enjoy again!

    Finest French cuisine experience on the beach. Casual ambience. WE have enjoyed La Fable several times. Food and service are outstanding. Deducted a star for noise (tables very close and a low tin ceiling) With wine and tip check averages around $100 per head for 3 courses. No winter pricing specials offered, so deducted a star for value. We feel pricing limits La Fable to more of a special occasion meal rather than a neighborhood go to spot for excellent food and drinks.
