   My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at La Grande Boucherie! The service was incredible, with Manuel giving us a nice history on the recent renovations and some of the decor. We went for brunch on the first day of restaurant week, it was a great value and the dishes were 10 out of 10. The decor is lovely, the music on point. Highly recommend!!

   Really great food. They were super busy on a Friday night. We had a reservation for 8pm but we didn’t get seated at our table until 8:40pm. Staff was very very kind and we weren’t in a rush so it was okay! They gave us an additional appetizer for our wait which was so kind and we weren’t expecting it. When we ordered the serve got our entree wrong, however, they didn’t come back around after dropping off the food so we just ignored it and ate what we got. It was still very good. We would still go back again.

   First time was Great! The Bar was awesome and the cocktails. I would recommend to anyone.

   Disappointing experience for restaurant week. Waited 15-20 mins to be seated for our reservation (we showed up on time). After being seated water was spilled accidentally by staff soaking my guest with no apology / comp. During the water incident some else’s food was served to us and they had to take the food away. Food was average and didn’t stand out. The staff seemed overwhelmed with the number of patrons. We waited a significant amount of time for the dessert. When asking the waiter on the status of the dessert he lied and said it was coming out shortly (rudely). We know he he lied because the dessert that was served was an alternative to what was on the restaurant week menu because they “ran out” and it was cheesecake (all they had to do was cut it). There are other French restaurants in the city that blow this out of the water in comparison. Save your dollars and go somewhere else.

   Came for RW and the set menu. Food was excellent, lively atmosphere in a Saturday night. The building and the interior is amazing and worth the visit on its own. Love the raceway bar and the 2 floors. Bunch of wines were half off, so a great deal all around.

   Restaurant is beautiful. Upstairs is much quieter than down. Waiter had too many table so we rarely saw him. Food was decent but not special.

   Overall, disappointed in my experience here. I was seated at a table right next to the service door to the kitchen, way in the back of the restaurant. The waiter started off okay but then went downhill. My companion’s water glass was never refilled, even though the steward came and refilled mine. The table was minuscule so we were always jockeying plates and glasses. And once the waiter took the order we never saw him again. The steak I got (ordered medium and got rare) was bordering on inedible. I had such a hard time cutting it—I guess a combination of dull steak knife and bad cut of beef. I couldn’t even swallow one of the bites I managed to cut. The waiter must have noticed I hardly ate—he did apologize after the plates were cleared that my steak wasn’t cooked to to medium. That apology was not reflected on the bill. Very expensive for a fairly bad experience. Not sure I will go back.

   This is a return visit for us. The food was outstanding and our server was excellent. This place has a great buzz going without it being too loud.

    Delicious food and wonderful service. We were there late on a weeknight so not a packed restaurant. Very cozy and lovely space. Could be quiet loud on a busy night as there is also mezzanine seating.
