   Not the best. The waiter was not attentive enough. The food was fair at best. We regularly dine at a French restaurant which is far better in terms of service and food. Additionally, we were celebrating my niece’s 16th birthday, which we advised them when we made the reservation and they did nothing - not even a “Happy Birthday.” All in all, the restaurant was grossly overrated. Pretty disappointed.

   The staff was very friendly and attentive, however, the food was disappointing. The croque madame was cold and the cheese wasn’t melted. The omelette was lacking flavor and the accompanying potatoes were bland. I had high expectations for our meal but was disappointed in the quality.

   Last night we had one of the best times in La Grande Boucherie DC which was on our to do list for our two days trip in Washington DC. The place is absolutely amazing the interior, the vibe, the stairs with the red carpet makes you fell so special and for our dinner we had absolute pleasure of being served by Orlando and he truly made the entire experience unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great recommendations and he anticipated our needs before we even asked and made sure every part of our experience was seamless and special. And regarding the food we had the best Dry Aged NY Strip which was cooked to perfection and the most juicy chicken and for dessert we had Boucherie Blossom Creme brûlée and everything was so delicious Overall we had a perfect Saturday night at La Grande Boucherie DC thanks to the beautiful atmosphere and vibe that this restaurant has and thanks to our server Orlando who has the perfect balance of professionalism, charisma, and kindness and he takes great pride in what he does. Washington and La Grande Boucherie DC you have our hearts and can’t wait to be back!

   A lovely meal with excellently cooked steak, good appetizers and delicious chocolate mousse dessert. The service was excellent, friendly and professional. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a mixup with side dishes, but as they were comped, we have no complaints.

   I had a wonderful time at La Grande Boucherie in DC. Great service by Steve! Food was amazing beautiful ambiance very friendly employees from the entrance to the dining experience. Will definitely come back!!

   The food was really good. The service was amazing. Steve is so knowledgeable about the building & the menu. He was able to answer all the questions about the different items on the menu. He recommended some great options. Every item that came to the table looked amazing. He was also knowledgeable about the drinks. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some amazing French cuisine. If you want an extra special experience, ask to be seated in Steve’s section. I will definitely be back.

   The food was amazing our server Steve was attentive and accommodating he offered options due to our allergies. A beautiful experience a fantastic server and a building with a great history. We will definitely bring our friends and family back.

    This is the best restaurant in town. If you have a significant other/family member/colleague you want to show an amazing experience, check out La Boucherie on 14th st. in DC. Ask for Steve and Chef Ibrahim. You will receive the white glove service of a lifetime.
