Located at 699 14th Street on the coveted corner of 14th and G Street NW, La Grande Boucherie is situated on the most high-profile street in Washington D.C., just one block away from the White House. The restaurant is built in elegant and ornamental Art Nouveau style, evoking the sense of optimism from the turn of the 20th century. The brasserie’s menu features both classic and modern French dishes, with focus on the meat program, raw bar and extravagant large-format meats, ideal for sharing and celebrating. Mahogany wood and glass partitions divide the gargantuan space to create intimate dining experiences. These pieces are adorned in gilded accents and uniquely curved arches inspired by the 20th-century Art Nouveau movement of Paris. Amazing dining experience. We enjoyed the escargot, shrimp (HUGE), foie gras, chicken, and French onion soup. Sancerre and Bordeaux wines were great. Service was 10/10. Christopher was a lovely server. Will be back!

What a beautiful restaurant with outstanding food and service. Our waiter was Amine, he was great, very friendly prompt with our drinks and food, I feel like he went above and beyond. We will definitely be back again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at La Grande Boucherie. The ambiance of the building and the live music complemented the delicious food perfectly. We particularly enjoyed the mussels in the Dijon sauce and the chocolate mousse dessert. Orlando took fantastic care of us and we can’t wait to come back and see him again! A great all around experience.

Andrea was an absolutely amazing server! She made our night so memorable! This was a dinner that was more than just food but an amazing experience! Management was also wonderful! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! If you go ask for Andrea to be your server! You’re welcome in advance!
