La Griglia continues its tradition of a true Houston staple at our new address, 2817 W Dallas Street. La Griglia’s menu is a blend of signature dishes with new creations featuring simple, uncomplicated ingredients elegantly presented. A significant portion of our exceptional ingredients are sourced from Italy and act as inspiration for the new offerings. With a striking, modern look and feel, La Griglia features sleek finishes such as marble and brass juxtaposed by the warmth of supple leathers and crisp white tablecloths. The restaurant includes an intimate main dining room, a wine room, and an expansive courtyard and bar for dining and cocktails, allowing for guests to experience a range of environments based on the occasion.

As a courtesy to all our guests, we maintain a business casual dress code. No beachwear, gym attire, hats, baseball caps, shorts, flip flops, or athletic apparel is allowed. Admittance is at the discretion of management.

La Griglia has been a Houston favorite of mine for many years. I loved the decor and the feeling of returning for a friendly upscale experience at the W Gray location. I understand that when you move a restaurant you want the opportunity to rebrand if necessary. The problem with the new location on West Dallas is that a rebrand wasn't necessary. And an all new menu too? Sorry, I came for the coconut cream pie, boo-hoo. I'm glad I got to experience all that I loved about the W Gray location one last time about a year ago. The new look is definitely upscale but the last thing I would call it is friendly. Very formal art deco design, beautiful, yes! Welcoming, no. The food and service, both amazing! I had the wild mushroom risotto, and the chocolate cake, both beautifully prepared and well presented. The staff are so kind and helpful and very professional. They really worked to make the meal and experience a good one but they has an uphill battle. And now for the ambiance... the restaurant was not busy but the music was so loud! Frank Sinatra at Las Vegas level for two hours. It was not energetic, it was like having a rude party sitting right next to us. We requested having the music turned down - at one point we were the only table in the room - but no, it stayed loud for the whole meal. We were with dear friends for a holiday celebration and it really ruined the experience for all of us. There are many restaurants with excellent food, and some with fantastic service, such as we had at La Griglia. But, with the new look and the awful music I doubt we will return.

We were pampered on Christmas Eve from the moment we entered. The restaurant was beautifully decorated. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. This was a very joyous and memorable time for our family holiday.

The new location is 5 star on everything! We had dinner on the patio and it was perfect! They have heaters but the weather was great. The food and drinks were amazing as was the staff. We had the key lime pie for dessert and it’s a must!!! We can’t wait to go back.

From the moment you enter the restaurant, you immediately feel you’re in a romantic upscale restaurant with a Great ambience! 🤩 The food was amazing and the service very commendable. Looking for that special spot to celebrate with someone special, look no further, La Griglia has everything you’re looking for and more. I highly recommend! ❤️

Food and service were both very good. Better than I remembered from the old location. Salads were large and very tasty. The service was great despite a big holiday crowd. The new building is very nice.
