When you are seeking authentic Italian cuisine there is not a comparable restaurant in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area. La Locanda Ristorante Italiano offers a quiet setting where you can enjoy intimate moments with friends and family. We offer semi private dining and a charming bar area, where guest can enjoy a glass of wine and an antipasto. We offer happy hour Monday - Friday from 4:30pm - 6pm in the bar. Featuring a selection of small bites, select wines by the glass $5, $2 off cocktails & amp; beer.

This is a restaurant where everyone is treated like family. Our menu is simple and direct, offering fresh original recipes from the North regions of Italy. Pasta is freshly made in house topped with mouthwatering recipes. The wine and cocktail lists offers a range for every palate and budget. We love this place and come often when we travel to Scottsdale. This time we showed up at 8:07 for our 8:00 pm reservation. Our waiters came to the table about 5 minutes later and said “are you ready to order?” What our drinks, an appetizer? He did that 3 or 4 more times. He also put in one wrong entree. Do not accept 8:00 pm reservations if you expect guests to be done at 9:00. It will be a while before we return.

Delicious food and great service! I wish they had served bread but it’s probably good they didn’t. Summer menu so looking forward to going back for their winter menu soon.

A great dinner. Have eaten here a few times. Always fantastic food and very helpful friendly staff. Highly recommended. Great location in old downtown Scottsdale.

We raved about our dinner in our car on the way home. Two of us had delicious shrimp linguini. I'm mad that my husband finished mine - wanted it for dinner tonight! Another guest loved her chicken parm. My wedge salad was good - I switched it up and had poppy seed dressing. Lots of toppings! We finished up with good tiramisu! Oh! The maple Manhattan had just the right amount of sweetness - and a marinated cherry. The service was excellent - not overbearing but there when we needed it! Can't wait to go again!

We always enjoy La Locanda. The food consistently very good! Rafael took excellent care of us. Whenever we are in Scottsdale we always look forward to going there.

I find it hard to find a simple good pappardelle bolognese - this place was great! My husband loved the chicken parm and my daughter had the Penne Alla Russa. All great!

Some of the menu items were not as advertised. The food was good but the dinner didn't come with bread, you had to purchase brrad.

What a delightful dining experience! This was not our first visit to La Locande as we try to have a meal there when we spend time in the Phoenix area. When we arrived and were seated we noted a group of about 14 adults and several small children which worried me but the group was modestly quiet and respectful of other diners! We had a very efficient wait staff who took time to answer questions and notice needs even before we did. Toward the end of our meal we met the owner whom we had spoken to a year or so back and he remembered us and even where we had dined. Amazing !
