   I’ve eaten at La Mar ever since it opened and have to say that this last meal was the best, it seems they changed the drink and food menu from before or something else, but this latest version really was delightful. My friends and I had the tiradito sampler, empanada sampler, the Tacu Tacu La Mar, lomo saltado and the Salmon Nikkei and everything was very nice. So kudos for the food. Service was also pretty good as well, though sometimes our server would forget about us. However, this place has gotten even more expensive than it used to be, which it’s a shame but at least the food improved from before

   Excelente comida, es la 4ta vez que vengo a este restaurante la comida y las bebidas son deliciosas no dejan de sorprenderme 👌 solo en el lobby las chicas que te reciben carecieron de la amabilidad con la que siempre me han recibido, fue lo único negativo de mi visita, pero el servicio del mesero Daniel y de los demás compañeros fue excelente!

   Another fantastic dinner at La Mar. The crab special (like ceviche) was outstanding, we come specifically for that dish. Our server was amazing too, one of our best yet. This time we sat in the bar area and it was fine, although the AC was blasting our table all night. We just kept our jackets on though and enjoyed ourselves. Pricey but so good.

   We went for the empanadas and pisco sours having dined there in the bar section prior to this time. This time we ate in the restaurant section ordering empanadas, pisco sours and entrees which reminded me of our travel to Peru.

   We had a wonderful lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Since this was an occasion that we don't have often, we decided that the prices were worth the experience.

   Our favorite SF restaurant, we have been eating there since it opened. The place is gorgeous, a renovated old warehouse on SF Bay that is a design marvel. The food is the most unique and delicious I have encountered anywhere. It could be the country's greatest Latin cooking - it's Peruvian. It's that good.

   I’ve been here many times and I don’t get tired of it. Food is amazing and delicious! Our waitress, Daniel, did an excellent job explaining the classic peruvian dishes and provided amazing service. Highly recommend trying this restaurant!

    We chose this restaurant to experience ceviche. We chose the perfect location. It’s quiet, elegant and the service was excellent. And the dessert… the “choco maracuya”… marvelous!!!!
