   It was an absolutely amazing experience from the time we entered. The seating hostess was very attentive and kind. Our server Brad was on point with his recommendations and very warm and accommodating. It had been a while since we went to LaMar, but it was an impeccable experience as we have always remembered it to be. Can’t wait to come back!

   The food was subpar, in my opinion. Everything, including fish, was drenched in sweet sauces. Stick with the classic cerviche.

   La Mar has a lovely location, a vibrant atmosphere and their staff is stellar. We enjoyed joking with our waiter,; we truly appreciated his professionalism and jovial manner. The food presentation was excellent, flavors artfully prepared and overall an enjoyable evening.

   We were a party of 6 for lunch and started with several appetizers to share. The cebiche tasting had 3 different citrusy sauces, each with distinct flavors. We ordered 2 other appetizers to share and both were quite satisfying. The main dishes were shared family style so that we all had a variety to taste. Yum! Of the 3 desserts tried, all good but the Choco Maracuya stood out as a favorite with the group. Service was attentive and not intrusive. We did not have any feeling of them trying to hurry us along. It was my first time back in a couple of years, but I will surely not stay away that long again. Oh, and the patio has a lovely view.

   I recently celebrated my birthday at La Mar, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was vibrant yet cozy, setting the perfect tone for a special evening. The staff went above and beyond, offering exceptional service with genuine warmth. The food was the true highlight—every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The ceviche was fresh and perfectly balanced, and the lomo saltado was a standout. To top it off, the desserts were delightful, especially the lucuma mousse, which was the perfect way to end the meal. It was a memorable evening, and I can’t wait to return! La Mar truly made my birthday celebration unforgettable. 🌟

   We had the black lava drink special with mezcal, the fish ceviche special, the octopus and the lomo saltado. I ended up ordering a 2nd black lava and the cerviche and octopus were tasty. The lomo saltado was good but def the most average of the group. Would dine again

    Have eaten here many times. Food was good as usual. Our server was unfriendly. We were rushed and processed. Wasn’t a good dining experience with a business friend who flew in from Ohio. She wasn’t impressed at all!
