   Dinner was very nice. We received special treatment for our anniversary. The French onion dumplings and shrimp cocktail were fantastic as well as our cocktails, entrees and sides. Definitely recommend!

   Regrettably, my visit to this restaurant was disappointing. It wasn't the food or the atmosphere that let me down, but rather the service and the cost. The waitress who attended to us had a passive-aggressive demeanor and spoke in a condescending manner to both me and my family. Additionally, the prices are quite steep for the quality of food served($300 for two ny strips and a burger). I won’t be coming back and cannot recommend this place to others.

   I was very excited for our night out in manhattan. I looked up the menu beforehand and there were a bunch of items that sold me on making the reservation here. The place is beautiful and the service was great. I was just very disappointed to see that the menu had none of the items we were excited about trying. Most of their featured dishes on their instagram page wasn’t available because they had a pre fix Valentine’s Day menu. No crab cake, no Long Island clam pasta, and The French onion dumplings weren’t available ala carte. Which honestly was why we traveled here for dinner. They had them on the valentines menu which I was willing to get but my husband just wanted a burger and we were told both people HAD to get the valentines menu. So in my opinion they lost out on $110 because I wasn’t allowed to order the pre fix just for myself. I ended up getting the prime rib. I asked for it medium rare. It was definitely medium, a little dry and lacking flavor but it wasn’t bad. We also had the octopus appetizer which was really delicious and my husband really enjoyed his burger. I was just disappointed that I couldn’t get what we were looking forward to. I understand the menu sometimes changes. It is what it is. But I really wanted those dumplings! Overall not a bad experience but don’t go on a holiday if you want something from the regular menu.

   The ambiance and service were perfect for a date night and the breakfast was phenomenal. However, for dinner our steak was overcooked, and overall the meal left something to be desired. I was hoping the quality of the food would reflect the prices and I felt a bit ripped off. Additionally, make note that there are communal tables and you're sitting on top of the guests next to you, so it doesn't allow for much privacy.

   Food was outstanding. Everything I had was on point and so delicious. Don’t miss the pull apart rolls, I could eat nothing but those and be so happy. Also loved the dumplings - the mushroom consommé was divine. Salmon was perfect, mushroom rigatoni amazing, sticky toffee…running out of adjectives. Only thing wonky was the service. Somehow we had four different servers. Everyone was nice, but uniformly confused. We had to flag them down several times just for basics like ordering (after waiting 40+ minutes) and paying.

   We are local New Yorkers, living in manhattan. This was our first visit to your restaurant and it will NOT be our last! We loved it! We are booked in again in about 3 weeks! The only MINOR suggestion that we would offer - - solely on the basis of personal preference - - is that white tablecloths on the tables would add to the elegance of the dining room and dining experience. But, tablecloths or not, we are coming back!
