Just had a great meal there to celebrate two family birthdays. The place was almost empty, maybe because we went during an Eagles game. The waiter was very nice and friendly and the bartender came over and was goofing around with my 3 year old, it was adorable! It’s very kid-friendly. Margaritas were excellent, tableside guacamole very good. Our group loved the quesadilla, tostada and carnitas tacos. My husband wasn’t crazy about the carne Asada tacos, which were kind of bland, but we will definitely be back because everything else was great. It would be nice if you could mix & match the tacos but that was not an option, although the waiter said they were working on that.

Food was very good, however they were out of short rib which was a disappointment and our server was terrible. She was very forgetful and did not come to check and see how our food was or if we needed anything.

I was very disappointed in the service. Took a very long time for someone to come to our table. We had to go to the hostess twice asking why we had not been served yet. Once the waitress came she was not that friendly and it took her a long time to get our drinks to us. We had to ask her what the specials were. Once we got our appetizer it then took a very long time to get our dinner. This is not my first time at this restaurant. Our service in prior visits was very good. The service we received Friday night was very bad. Hoping it was an anomaly. I doubt my friends will go back. The food has been great the few times I've been here. I'll try it again for that reason but, if we experience the same service again, we will not go back

We had chicken enchiladas....the chicken had no flavor and both of our meals were lukewarm at best. We did not send it back. I guess we should have complained.

Disappointing because the place has potential! The guacamole and short rib quesadilla were delish. The fish tacos were bland, pork tacos extremely dry, and grilled octopus had a strange taste to it. Our server was very nice but service was extremely slow considering the restaurant was also relatively empty. Sad to say we will not be going back here :(

Went for the drink advertised happy hours specials. When seated was told it was only available at the bar. Our waitress was able to get Management to honor the prices at the table—good job on her part. The frozen margarita I ordered was piled about 2-3” high with ice and the liquid part of the drink tasted like water—too much ice and not enough flavorings. Again the waitress worked her magic and excahanged it for a drink on the rocks. It was much better as you could taste the ingredients. The chips and salsa served before the meal were very good. We ordered two types of tacos neither of which was very tasty. The carnitas in the taco was not browned and tasted porky. We also ordered a stuffed pepper—Chile relleno— which was not crispy and didn’t have much taste. All in all we won’t be going back. Tolteca up the street has very good carnitas served with 3 tortillas and rice and retried beans.

Wild crowd at the bar. Noise level was that of a sports bar. Children running around unsupervised. You would think employee's or management would have stepped in. The food was OK at best. The kicker was the bill. It was that of a 5 Star restaurent. Never again.....

Saw a great article about the restaurant in a local magazine, and since my wife and I are always on the hunt for fresh, authentic Mexican food, we decided to try. The location is in a new strip mall on Route 202 just north of the Delaware-Pennsylvania border, and the noise is more from the road than from the clientele or staff. We sat outside, were immediately and delightfully greeted. The adult beverages are top shelf. While you have to pay for the chips and salsa, they are obviously fresh made and well above what you typically get. We ordered their tacos - terrific! Not the best ambiance due to the road noise, but it’s a great little restaurant with terrific service and first rate food. We will be back.

Our lunch was good. Probably the best Mexican so far in Wilmington. Service was very good and efficient. The two things that did catch my attention were the tortillas which seemed to be store bought. I would have expected house made in such a more upscale place. The second thing I would change immediately is the flatware. The Matt finish bothered me, it looks like the knives and forks were place in an acid bath. Strange.
