    Even after not having been here in a long while, it's still charming, warm, and the food is exuberant.. if food can be that!! Wine also great and it was not an expensive one either. Service was attentive, quiet and professional. Great spot to go for dinner for any occasion but know it will be worth it. Noise level increased because a big party at a long table nearby but even so, we were able to carry on a conversation pretty well. i'll be back and it will be sooner.

    Always glad to return to La Piquette. Consistent across the board, never disappoints and always great food, drinks and hospitality with a great unpretentious neighborhood vibe.

    We had yet another fabulous meal at our favorite bistro, a Saturday lunch. Our favorite waiter made it extra delightful with his charm and great service. Beef tartare served with best frites in DC was spectacular, as were our calamari appetizers and isle flotante desserts. Can’t wait to return.

    Dining at La Piquette is always wonderful. The service and food is superb without fail. I love coming here for a casual meal to catch up with friends and also for special occasions. La Piquette never disappoints.

    We went early before heading downtown to the theater. It was nice and quiet at that hour. The food was very good. I need to remember next time to order my meat Medium instead of medium rare which was more on the rare side. The frites are the best in the city. My husband had the braised rib and it was “smashing!” We love this place!

    Great welcome coming in the door but wish I could have said the same about our waitress. She seemed overwhelmed and unfortunately put a bad vibe on the atmosphere. Food though was exceptional- very fresh perfectly seasoned Dorado in a light brown butter sauce. Beautiful beet salad and grilled leeks. Definitely will come back with hopes of not getting the same waitress.
