La Pizza & La Pasta features two of the best-loved Italian dishes: Napoli-style pizza and al dente pasta. Enjoy our seasonal selection just steps away from our expert pasta chefs and dough-slinging pizzaioli (pizza makers). To create our traditional but innovative dishes, our chefs cook with both fresh pasta made daily in-house and air-dried, bronze-extruded pasta from Campania, Italy. Eataly has teamed up with the experts at Rossopomodoro, a Napoli-based pizza company, to bring you traditional Neapolitan pizza. Creamy mozzarella, charred yet elastic crust, and sweet San Marzano tomatoes are the basis for the most traditional Pizza.

It was very good, but to be honest, I feel guilty about going to a restaurant on Christmas where I'm sure the staff wanted to be home with their families (as opposed to an Asian restaurant where most workers probably don't celebrate Christmas.)

Everything was great. Our waiter was friendly and responsive. We had a table by the window which was great. We had two teenagers with my girlfriend and I, and they devoured their pizzas. I was thrilled to get have my fettuccine tossed tableside in the parmesan cheese wheel. The whole Eatily experience was a perfect way to end our Chicago trip.

We were very disappointed with our experience. As soon as we ordered the pizza arrived 30 seconds later. My husband ordered the pizza and I ordered raviolis. We decided to share because we would not eat at the same time… The spinach raviolis with pomodoro tomatoes were not good at all !! It was not cooked and seems coming out of a can. The plate was very small and not very appealing!

This has been one of my favorite places to eat. It’s a tradition every year at Christmas time. Started off horrible with the Woman’s restroom upstairs outside of the restaurant. There was a long line of people waiting only for everyone ti get to the front of the line to have bathrooms with toilet paper all over the floor, no toilet paper in ANY of the stalls to use and no soap. Toilet paper dispenser fell off the stall wall. Absolutely unacceptable conditions that not one staff member attended to. Server was horrible. Tables were waiting for far too long to even get water. It was an absolute cluster! When the hostess asked the Manager to come over to hostess stand he pretty much ignored her by walking away and saying “I’m too busy”. There is clearly a problem here.

The food wasn’t great at all. Didn’t care for deboning my own fish—potatoes were overcooked and it and wasn’t super warm. My husbands pizza wasn’t very flavorful and one side was burnt. Server was rushing us. Everything seemed to be ‘get in and get out’. There was absolutely nothing memorable about the experience nor will we return.

The environment felt like eating at a food court. There was no privacy, so many noises, my table was small and can barely fit anything on it. The food was bland and mediocre. I was expecting to be amazed with flavor but that was not the case. My pizza was cold and soggy. Portion size was small. Ordering a take out pizza would be better and cheaper. The price was wild for the quantity/quality. Honestly should of paid half of it rather than what I did. The server was really nice. He acknowledged our allergies and congratulated me on my sobriety. Besides the server and our birthday dessert that we enjoy, everything else felt like a joke.

Our server was brutal. Food was not great. $5 for 2” thick inedible bread, rock hard butter. Chickpea fritters were cold and soggy, I won’t get into the service but not sure if I’ve had worse.
