   The young man who waited our table was enthusuastic and helpful. He offered advise on the menu which was appreciated. The cheese board starter was acceptable. The food for mains was underwhelming to say the least! Beef cheek on potatoes - meat ok, potatoes felt like they had been sitting out for a while. Not fresh or cripy as expected. Ham Crochets didn't taste of ham, just a bland creamy potatoes, the parcel of cod looked great, well cooked but again lacking flavour. Oh, well you live and learn.

   The staff were lovely and the food was incredible. Every mouthful was packed full of flavour and cooked perfectly. Would visit again in a heartbeat

   Warm welcome, great for pre theatre meal. Good size portions and very tasty. Will return on my next visit to Edinburgh

   Nice friendly buzxy ambience, attentive but not overbearing service & tasty, nicely presented dishes (wr had a selection of 5 tapas to share, 2 glasses each of excellent Rioja & a dessert - very happy we chose La Sal.

   Thanks for a lovely meal! We absolutely over ordered but everything was delicious and so fresh. Great value for money. Staff are great too. Will definitely be back.

   Genuine neighbourhood Spanish restaurant. Great choice (but not so many that you wondered if things were coming out of the freezer and into the microwave), very well cooked delicious Spanish food. Very reasonably priced, and portions much more generous than usual tapas. wine was also good and good price. Didn’t make it to the desserts as too full, but sure they would have been delicious. Definitely a place to return to next time we are in Edinburgh.

    Perfect food, great wine, authentic, and served with warmth and a smile. Genuinely one of my fave places to eat in Edinburgh 🙂
