   We ordered a variety of dishes and some were great and some not so great. The pasta special was fantastic. A ravioli with a pork filling. Very good. The filet of beef was very ordinary and not seasoned at all. It was cooked to order fortunately. We were expecting a better experience.

   Truly authentic Italian cuisine; wonderful creative dishes and outstanding service. It’s the best Italian food we’ve had since dining in Florence, Italy! This is a great restaurant!!

   First time here, met friends for dinner. Husband and I shared the pulpa/octopus, grilled, tender and juicy really cooked to perfection. Our friend had the same appetizer. Next we had the seafood risotto. The risotto was filled with calamari, mussels, clams, and shrimp all perfectly cooked which cant be easy I would imagine but they did a great job. The flavor of the red sauce was really good and not overly done. Friends had the ravioli in a black truffle cream sauce that they raved about. I believe it was one of the specials that evening. The ambiance was low lighting, cozy, but with all the people in the restaurant it got quite loud at times. I cant wait to go back and try more dishes, They have quite an extensive menu making it hard to choose what to order! That's a good thing!

   Our favorite restaurant in Sarasota. It was a special occasion which made it perfect. As an Italian and retired Chef I always find the food exceptional. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. As always the evening was amazing.
