   Why on earth would you pay a similar price (perhaps a tiny tiny less) to eat ordinary when you could have seriously great food. I traveled an extra 10 mins and paid an extra $10 and got a 100000 times better meal and experience. #dontsettleforless

   We enjoyed the food which was fairly high quality and interesting but the service was slow and poor. We had a booking at 6:45 but couldn’t leave until about 9:40 due to slowness in service. For the price we paid, also felt a little explanation on what the dishes were when being put on the table would have been good but felt like the person serving us didn’t have any knowledge about or interest in the food being served.

   Hi Linda, Chris here, I'm one of the owners of Lagoon Dining. As the person who served you most of the evening it's disappointing and confusing to read your review. On arrival, I did spend time at your table highlighting the 'signature' dishes and explaining the menu structure in detail, including answering your questions around portion sizes. You ordered multiple snacks, wok dishes, mains and dessert. Dish introductions were provided when each of these arrived at your table. Your first round of drinks were delivered within less then 5 minutes of you ordering and additional glasses of wine arrived to you within minutes and your table was consistently maintained throughout the evening . I have reviewed CCTV footage and you left at 9:18pm.

   Perhaps one of the top 10 meals ever. An incredibly well put together feed me set menu. Every dish a standout. Flavours exploding everywhere but pairings for each stage so well thought out. Seriously impressive. 500ml Riesling Chardonnay 50:50 blend also fascinating and the whole thing unbelievably good value.

   Phenomenal food (get the set menu if you haven’t been before). Friendly, personable staff. Great music. Intimate vibe and ambiance. Beautifully paired wine.
