   We were really disappointed in our recent dining experience. We’ve been here a couple times in the past and it was excellent, but the quality has significantly gone down. We came on a Saturday night before a show in the Tobin, and when we sat we were surprisingly the only table in the entire restaurant. There were 4-5 tables at most by the time we left. I ordered the mushroom and truffle soup and it was cold…not even room temperature. It was so cold that I thought it was purposely cold. When the waiter came by and saw I barely touched it and asked if I didn’t like it, my reply was “I didn’t know this was a soup served cold.” He then told me it was supposed to be hot so he brought me another bowl that was hot. Even hot, the soup was very flavorless and I barely finished half of it. My husband and I split the pork chop entree. I’ve ordered this before and it was 1 huge pork chop. To my surprise, it is now 2 regular sized pork chops which is fine, but both pork chops were cold. I didn’t want to complain and send them bacl, but one of my absolute pet peeves is cold food. Overall the drinks and service were great, but for the price we paid, we won’t be dining here again and I wouldn’t recommend to friends.

   Great burger. Attentive service. The hotel and restaurant are not anywhere near the actual tourist portion of Riverwalk but is very close to Toobin and Art Museum and both are very nice.

   Restaurant was empty and menu limited. Very expensive. And I got mixed messages about the parking. Probably won’t be going back as it’s not a very good value or experience.

   I ate here last year and it was phenomenal. 10 stars all around. I have to admit this year it was not quite as good, Their menu is smaller, the food was not as good, and the over all experience was a little lack luster compared to the last time we went, but overall it is still a good restaurant and the staff is amazing.

   I stayed at the hotel and this is a reflection of 1 dinner and 2 breakfasts there. The positive of the dinner was the room, decor and our wonderful server that night. We were the only ones there the entire time and told it was a slow week. Best things: deviled eggs. The catch of the day was ok but it was oddly on a large mound of tasteless lima beans with some very delicious wild mushrooms. It didn't come together at all. Also had the scallops (4 of them which were delicious) but the 2 baby carrots on the plate should have been cooked longer so that a fork could easily penetrate them. Meh. Then the cheesecake dessert was quite underwhelming. Top that off with their serving of wine for $17 at 5 ounces seemed steep. We were there based on other reviews and the convenience of the hotel on her first night and though our server was lovely we would definitely not return. Go to the Pearl district. For breakfast - service very very underwhelming. Both times no spoon to use for my coffee. Lackluster waitresses who were pleasant enough but not really interested in working there. No source of eggs, bacon, organic options available. Not a restaurant that complements the hotel.

   We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and everyone we encountered was wonderful. The staff all signed a card congratulating us and that was such a sweet touch to our dinning experience. The food was delicious and the ambiance was great.

   Server was nice and polite but the food took a while to come out and the steak had to be send back since it was way undercooked. The pork chop was salty and the appetizer (biscuits) were not really anything special. Overall dropping $200+ was not worth it, definitely much better restaurants I would prefer to spend my money at for much better food.

    Service was dismal - I’ve had better service at a diner. They only wanted to turn over tables and get rid of us quickly to get more customers. Value vs. amount and quality did not match. I mean, $95 for a small ceasar salad as the starter, 2 prawns for main course and a basic cheesecake? Never again.
