   We had the best server. But your hostesses at the front door were rude!! We had reservations we did it right. They were not busy so no excuse.

   We requested a window table when we made our reservation on Open Table, but we were seated in the middle of the dining room. There were empty tables along the windows but just needed to be cleared. When we mentioned the request to the older hostess, she acted like we were crazy. The service here has definitely went downhill.

   We were seated almost immediately for our reservation. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive and the food was excellent!

   Server entered the incorrect snapper order and would not relent that she had messed up the order. We wanted and ordered the Snapper Hemingway with asparagus. She entered the grilled snapper with broccoli. We checked online menu and she was adamant those online menus show incorrect sides. Additionally throughout the meal we asked about bread and she kept saying they were making it. All the way until she asked if we wanted dessert. I reminded her again that we wanted bread and she responded she hadn’t checked. Finally brought us bread. We’re a Landry Club Member and this was a less than acceptable dining experience.    Sadly the food was gross. We had the mahi mahi and it was so overcooked that you didn’t know you were eating fish. Oysters were very fishy. Kids meal was cooked perfect with tenders and fish. Not a place I would choose to eat again although the service was top notch!

   We went for Christmas! Thinking it would be special but the menu was small and limited. The food I ordered was over cooked. So I sent it back but the waitress was not agreeable with the situation as if she was paying for it! We came the early part of this year and everything was on point! I guess a this was a bad situation this time

   Our family had Christmas dinner at Landry's. The food was delicious! We ordered off of the prix fixe menu and we were pleasantly surprised. The server was accommodating and very helpful. A great experience overall.

    We were here for Christmas and thought it might be better than Shoneys. It was not. If you are not familiar with fresh seafood, you may like it. Unfortunately we are from the Gulf Coast and know better. The personnel were good and the restaurant was clean. Seriously, even the onion string and French fries were not good. Just a word to the wise.
