    Join us for a Crab Curry feast on the last Sunday of every month where we celebrate our favourite crustacean with an ever changing banquet menu. The menu starts with an array of short eats to whet your appetite. Following that, the crab curry arrives with vegetable sides, dhal, rice, pappadums and sambols. And a little dessert to finish. The menu is set so there is nothing for you to do but get a little messy with the crabs and enjoy. We will take credit card details to secure your booking, but no money will be taken at the time. A cancellation fee of $60 per head will be charged for no-shows or bookings cancelled with less than 48 hours notice. If your numbers drop on the day, you will be charged for your original booking amount.

    This banquet gives you the best of everything. Short eats to start, an egg hopper and sambol interlude, with the buryani served with an array of accoutrements as your main. Followed by a little dessert. Watch out for our guest chef series where the set structure remains yet the flavours go wild and we match dishes from our menu with our visitors tasty delights. We will take credit card details to secure your booking, but no money will be taken at the time. A cancellation fee of $60 per head will be charged for no-shows or bookings cancelled with less than 12 hours notice.

    AVAILABLE BY PRE-ORDER ONLY WITH AT LEAST 24 HOURS NOTICED, EMAIL CONFIRMATION IS REQUIRED TO SECURE THIS MENU. The menu starts with an array of short eats to whet your appetite. Following is crab curry with vegetable sides, dhal, rice, papadums and sambols. And a little dessert to finish. This menu comes with a blue swimmer crab per person however it can be upgraded to mud crab. For muddies, we allow for half a crab per person, the size is typically 1 kg - 2 kg and will be charged at market price. This brings the banquet cost to $220 - $280 per person. A deposit of $100 per person is required to secure this option, please wait for an email from the restaurant to ensure conformation.

    Second visit and it didn’t disappoint, our host looked after us made us feel welcomed and assisted with the menu. Highly recommend and I will be back in the nea future

    Sensational dishes - kangaroo curry and traditional fish in coriander crust were truely memorable. Delightful service and even engaging chefs. Proud to show some Melbourne foodies one of Sydney’s gems.

    Very pleasantly surprised, small, fun little place with friendly staff and nice buzz. Never really had Sri Lankan inspired food before, so went with the banquet and were basically left to staff sending out surprises including lamb samosas, pickled veg, mulloway curry and other delicious sides. All in all it was one of the nicest meals we've had this quarter, and although not expecting much this is why we still love. dining out - to be constantly surprised and wrong. Well done for a very memorable and fun meal, and can't wait to return.

    Absolutely cannot come to Sydney without a visit to Lankan Filling Station. The food is never less than amazing and the hospitality is some of the best out there. A true favourite.

    Food was very tasty and full of flavour. Egg hoppers combined with different sambols were our favourite. We also enjoyed the cabbage, roti, and fish baked in banana leaf (although the portion was rather small for the price). In terms of ambience, we wished the light was more dim. Other than that, we liked the modern space.
