Lardo in Mexico City is known for chef Elena Reygadas' cooking of Mediterranean food from a wood burning oven. Diners are encouraged to share. We do not accept pets.

Lardo serves breakfast with egg dishes like croque madame and sandwiches. For dinner, choose from a number of small plates like ham, cheese and salads. Nice dining experience. Good cocktails and wine. Really good service. We ordered the hummus, arugula salad, pork with cauliflower and the seafood rice which were all very good.

Es una decepción en lo que se convirtió este lugar, la comida mala, el servicio pésimo (más de 30 minutos sin que alguien nos atendiera). Únicamente atendían a clientes extranjeros y la comida llegó cruda y sin sabor. Para colmo, al final el mesero nos quería cobrar más de lo que decía la cuenta. Una pena de verdad.

Ni tiempo nos dió al postre, rápido la cuenta para que nos fuéramos. Comenzaron a limpiar mientras estábamos con nuestras bebidas. Si cierras a las 10:30 no admitas reservas a las 9.

The worst service I have encountered in all of Mexico. Kept waiting outside in the cold for 20 minutes before our table was ready, then given a table next to serving station and they would not move us. The food delivery was very slow, the waiter brought the wrong appetizer and then disappeared. Completely inattentive service. Very average food but very overpriced.

Excellent meal and beautiful interior. Quite the escape if you have been in Mexico for some time. If you’re here for a short time, keep in mind they have no Mexican local flavors
