   The senior staff were excellent. We had issues - first it was very windy on the rooftop, given the backend of Storm Darragh. We were beside a heater & given blankets. We asked for 3 hot ports - but received 3 pots of hot water with cups! The waiter misheard (due to the wind!) The hostess came out & let us know that there was a table inside becoming available in 10 mins. - we were so thrilled. The table inside was opposite the door - we could have done with a wind-breaker between us! 3 of us ordered fillet steak & 2 other shrimp linguini. The steak eaters ordered mash One was potato mash (& delish) the other two were a reddish coloured spicy nash. We were expecting the normal whipped mash & said it to our server. He said he would bring another white mash (it never arrived) My fellow steak recipient asked if my steak was cold & when I tasted it - it was - nevertheless - we were hungry & decided to eat faster!! I did complain to the waiter who suggested we give them back - we elected to make do as the taste and tenderness was excellent. The hostess said our desserts would be FOC to make up for it. 3 desserts were ordered - all yum! When I was paying, the person at the hostess stand (a guy) asked if all was ok & I let him know about the mash. He wanted to adjust the bill I said we had already received 3 desserts. However he prevailed and removed the cost of the mash. It certainly warmed my heart. So what we experienced was the senior members of the team delivering great service, very alert to the needs of their clients and actually changing outcomes for the better. I want to congratulate you. I absolutely understand it was a cold day and the kitchen dropped the ball on your steaks but I assure you this was a once off and we do really hope to see you and the family back.    Food is not nice at all. The deal is good, but very poor taste and the menu is not very inviting. Would not recommend one bit

   Great food and cocktails! Lovely evening celebrating both my parents 60th birthdays. I’d forgotten I ticked “birthday@ as the occasion on the booking and were pleasantly surprised with a brownie and icecream with a lit candle to celebrate by the staff! A very nice touch!
