Excellent restaurant, the staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food arrived hot and was cooked to perfection. The menu was well developed and had something for everyone. There was a variety in tastes ranging from herby, spiced and traditional. Overall an absolutely exceptional eating experience and somewhere we wouldn’t hesitate to book again when we’re in the Whitstable area again.

Second time there. Fantastic service. Slight issue with the order, but this was rectified immediately. Can’t fault the place and would happily go back! Amazing food.

One of the best meals we've ever had! When you treat yourself to a meal out it can sometimes be truly memorable and our visit to the Lazy Lobster was definitely one we will remember. The young lady who served us was brilliant and gave us an idea of how many dishes to order between the two of us. It's tapas style with small dishes that arrived as and when they're ready. An excellent mix of unusual dishes and every one we tried was just so delicious. Fabulous flavour combinations that deliver a tasty treat with each plate. Wonderful food with friendly and professional service. Superb!!

Beautifully fresh, well prepared small plates. Nice informal atmosphere. Not the cheapest but didn’t feel ripped off. Marked down a star for service as one of our plates went to another table in error. It was all sorted and they took it off the bill so no harm done, just a bit annoying. Overall good experience and would recommend.

Over rated , over priced ,nothing special with this on trend “ small plates “ restaurant . Only one person serving , had to borrow the menu from a nearby table , had to ask for a drink , ordered a Chapel Down Sparkling Rose which was served in a normal wine glass which is a total no no , when I asked why , was told “ we use universal wine glasses “ Food arrived separately which is norm for small plates , the last thing to come out was the frozen fries which were totalled covered in grated Parmesan, would have thought they would have been first out , think they were forgotten. I appreciate hospitality is struggling at the moment, presume that accounts for the small plate concept everywhere at the moment as it’s a good way to make money by serving less food , if you’re going ti go down that route make make sure you’re good is very very good.
