   Each dish was flavorless and overpriced. The ambience and service was lovely but I can’t recall ever being so disappointed in a restaurant experience in terms of the quality of the food. The meat was tough and low quality.

   Food was great, but the atmosphere was a miss for me. For the prices charged I've grown to expect more ambiance...looking out through floor to ceiling plate glass windows into a shopping center & it's parking lot just doesn't do it for me. Parking was AWFUL!!! My husband who was in a cast there was nearly no handicap spaces & all were full so we were forced to use valet. Dinner for 7 people was $1100+...we brought a bottle of wine & only 5 had a pre-dinner cocktail. A few had dessert & the service was good. We will probably go again, but will consider other fine dining options first.

   Great restaurant, with superior service. All the staff were excellent. The main entrees were very good and flavorful. Our waitperson, Ciera, was exceptional and very attentive. We didn’t have to chase her down, as she would always check on us. We had the filet and ribeye steaks. They were the perfect temperature (medium rare) and hot. The only criticism was the temperature of LB potatoes side dish and the roasted vegetables. Both were warm. It was if the plates were prepared, and then left to cool down until the entree was cooked and plated. Finally, we had the molten chocolate cake and creme brûlée for desserts. Both were very good, and the molten chocolate cake was the I’ve had.

   Our waitress was amazing! She was everything a customer and an employer is looking for. I don’t remember her name but she has brown hair and an 11 year old son. She up sold me on a cocktail, gave us great recommendations, awesome service and let us know about other things the restaurant has to offer. The food was great! The atmosphere was perfect! And those lavender cosmos are divine. We’ll definitely be back sooner than later.

   My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful New Year's Eve dinner at LB Steakhouse in San Ramon. The restaurant exudes a perfect ambiance for date nights and special events, with a great vibe that sets the tone for an elevated dining experience. We started with celebratory cocktails—a Cosmopolitan for her and a signature Old Fashioned for me—both were excellent. Our meal began with well-executed Caesar salads, beautifully presented. For our mains, she opted for the Filet Mignon and I chose the Strip Steak, both medium rare and perfectly cooked. The sides, a baked potato for her and truffle fries for me, complemented the meal wonderfully. The wine selection did not disappoint either, with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir enhancing the flavors of the evening. Service was outstanding—our server was attentive and didn’t miss a beat. While the experience was nearly flawless, the 4% living wage addition to the bill felt unnecessary and slightly off-putting. Nevertheless, the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere more than made up for it. Overall, I’d give LB Steakhouse 5 stars and look forward to returning for another exceptional evening.

   Hostess was unwelcoming and made us wait unnecessarily long, as were seated immediately by her replacement. The waiter was extremely slow and inattentive, arrogant and rude. However, the food is excellent (as always), compliments to the chefs for staying consistent. It is sad to see LB steak in San Ramon becoming so complacent and customer unfriendly, because it used to be our favorite in town.
