   Le chique was unfortunately a solid disappointment across the board. As someone who frequently indulges in this type of experience, I would caution against a visit here unless you are staying directly at the resort, it’s not worth the trip out of your way. The food was okay, but the service was slow, and the venue was quite underwhelming. Compared to the other Michelin star restaurants we have visited, this was probably the least favourite experience we’ve had to date . Maybe the Bar was set too high after our wonderful experience at restaurante Ha’ earlier this week, but regardless, I would suggest you skip this one. I will note they put a lot of thought and effort into the presentation of each dish, and not from lack of effort, however the timing was just off with no rhythm to the evening. I would prefer less dishes, and more attention to detail in this type of experience. Less is more. Need more waiters to touch the table and help move the night along. We’ve had much longer tasting experiences that felt much shorter than this one. It’s all about the little things, like lack of AC providing an uncomfortable atmosphere, or the waiter recommending a 20% gratuity at the end of the night. I’m not someone who usually complains about these things, small things can be overlooked; but there were too many misses during thjs experience, that for the price, are not acceptable. Some dishes have potential, however this establishment would benefit from some polishing up the details across the board. Hopefully they can make some changes and invest some time to improve this type of experience. Best of luck!

   An amazing 1-star experience along Rivera Maya, not far from Cancun. It is worth the quest to get there! It's useful to know it's located on the property of the Palmar Beach Resort- Google maps is helpful to get you there despite lack of signage, etc. There's a small section of unpaved road; can talk to the guard at entry and they'll notify restaurant you're coming. Once there, the service is impeccable! Perhaps, the wine choices could be expanded a bit. I expected to find some rarer Mexican wines that aren't exported. But, did find a very tasty 04 Barolo which pared nicely. But, the food! OMG! The Chef is a genius! Culinary creativity! Amazing flavors! Some of the most amazing dishes I've had in any restaurant of the world! And for this quality the pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend the trek!

   Truly one of the most imaginative and delicious dining experiences we’ve ever had. Creative perfection surrounds the pure flavors of Mexico and are elevated to a level of Michelin Star magic. We cannot stress enough that this is absolutely one of the finest dining experiences to be had in North America… or anywhere else.

   Excelente y sobresaliente servicio, pocas veces visto este tipo de servicio sobresaliente. Excelente presentación y creatividad de TODOS los platillos, algunos platillos fueron de lo mejor que hemos probado en el mundo.. en especial el Foie Gras con trufa y chocolate… wow! Pero todo excelente! Muy recomendable experiencia!

   We wanted to come to Le Chique for a while, and it was worth the wait. We added the wine pairing, and it elevated the experience to the next level. Every course was a masterpiece and as visually stunning as it was delicious. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys innovative food experiences.

   Chef Alejandro (sp?) shared a delightful meal that was innovative and delicious. I don’t typically eat fish and I enjoyed every morsel including the fish courses. Such a wonderful array of complex tastes while also providing a feast for my eyes. The service was wonderful as well. Thank you for an incredible meal and experience.
