This is a new restaurant in Cherry Creek about 6 weeks. Same owners as Le Bilboquet. The ambiance is beautiful and service superb!! What I can’t get past and why I will not be back is this rush you in and out. My wife and I walk here so very close. We spent $140 with a $30 tip in 47 minutes. The food was great but the value is horrible!! Why can’t this be an 1 1/2 hour service ……why rush for table turns I guess. It will have the same volume as Le Bilboquet in about 6 months!!

The food was so good, we're trying to schedule our return with more people so we can try all of the dishes! Drinks were fantastic as well. I don't recommend making a reservation for dinner at the bar. Turns out that does not guarantee seats. Fortunately, 2 seats opened after a brief wait and we were seated at the corner of the bar counter. It was a tight squeeze for all of the plates we ordered, but they staggered the delivery so we weren't overwhelmed. It's also a tight squeeze for people waiting who rested their arms on the backs of our chairs. That might be ok in a bar, but not for us trying to eat dinner.

Apparently Denver has embraced Le Colonial with open arms in the short time they have been open and they are flocking to this restaurant in significant numbers. Unfortunately, Le Colonial seems a bit overwhelmed with the response as evidenced by the wait times (with reservations) and the spotty service. Many of the staff appear confused as to how to handle the crowds. We were surprised how packed the restaurant was on a Monday night and disappointed that they had only one person at the hostess station who disappeared for long periods of time to seat diners, meanwhile leaving patrons packed into the tiny vestibule wondering what was happening. Hopefully things will even out after they have adjusted to the influx of holiday visitors. I also hope they will maintain a dignified dining experience by establishing and enforcing a policy of "no hats in the dining room". It's simply a matter of respect....not too much to ask.

Incredible decor and vibes. Food was stunning and perfect. Service was lovely. Must eat here , perfect place for an anniversary or special ocasion. Bar and lounge is a perfect date night to impress

Beautiful ambiance, but the service didn’t match the setting. Small but telling missteps throughout the meal. Soup was dropped off without a spoon, requiring us to flag someone down. The soup, salad, and main course were all served at once, forcing me to send the main back so I could enjoy the meal at a reasonable pace. Dessert (tapioca pudding) oddly arrived with a soup spoon, adding to the sense of disorganization. For a restaurant with such a refined atmosphere, I expected a more polished dining experience
